Reimbursement wasn't required, not in the slightest, after the gear you've already sent me. It was just annoying that I'd used spare gear to quickly "patch him up" whilst you caught up in NG+(+?), then when he plunged down the hole in the walkway (when the Griffin is harrassing everyone) it meant it was all lost when I finally got back to the Rift to reclaim him. Of course, I'd forgotten to take a Ferrystone with me, so I'm having to trudge back to Gran Soren with him wearing the basic gear; thankfully, with him being so high level, he's still pretty formidable.

Me too. I just hope you didn't have to go to too much trouble on my account.
No trouble at all dude; a trip to the Bluemoon Tower, which is fun anyway, and just close to a couple of hundred thousand gold spend (I've got over 1m at the mo) with Caxton for the weapon and various upgrades.

As a bonus, some of that stuff that went missing the first time I sent it to you weirdly ended up appearing back in my storage inventory!?? Ultimately, I'm just glad Bunny is tougher and stronger with the gear she has now, it will pay off when she's part of my pawn team!

By the time you can comfortabley zip about the port crystals all of the stuff there is obsolete anyway.

Still no word on patching in some scaling content :(
I was thinking more along the lines of looting value, if the chests give you duplicates all the time. Whilst I'm not desperate for cash, my last shopping trip damn near cleared me out, I'm just looking for a reliable source of replenishment.

How do you gift stuff to other pawns? I want to share the love with some low level EG players.

It's just got a bad description, check the quest in your log and you'll see he actually wants 10 chunks of rubble.
You're right, cheers! Spotted it earlier and facepalmed.

Just had a twenty minute fight with a drake. He possessed my pawns three times, wiped the party out four. Went through about forty curatives - nothing left. Staggering around, a milimetre of health left, all party wiped. He charges, and my last arrow burst puts him down.

It was last scene of Jaws stuff. I don't think I've punched the air in twenty years. :)

Not sure about other stuff, but if it's something the pawn can equip, give it to them and equip it. Their old gear goes back to their world and the new gear becomes theirs. I've done it a few times for various pawns, and I've got a little stash to give away tomorrow.

Hi rafe, you have to simply equip the new weapon/armour to the borrowed pawn! It pops a message up telling you that equipping the new item is considered a gift and you can't take it back, and gives you the option to proceed with giving it or pulling out. You need to then send the pawn back in the Rift and the other user should then get the gear when they next rest at an inn!

I had a problem sending gifts to robthehermit the other day, but I think I finally realised what happened. Bunny had fallen and died at Bluemoon Tower(sorry rob ;)), so I'd reloaded the game when I'd entered the place(a non-checkpoint save) and she was back. The game obviously has problems with this if you then proceed to later send them back with stuff you subsequently equip to the pawn, as they're technically already 'out of your party' it seems, even if you've reloaded from a death. So only equip pawns if you haven't reloaded them from a death, or the items will possibly be lost/not sent!

Legend. It's that kind of Exhiliration you don't get in many games.

God I need more of that. Wonder how much Dark Souls goes for these days.

Can someone on NG+ please help?

I've collected by 20 wakestones and gone up to heaven type place and am fighting off against an old Arisen. when i beat him does the game start from scratch or can i still explore the everfall etc... I have a horrible feeling that i've jumped through a tonne of stuff as i never really explored post dead dragon Gransys or picked up new quests.

    When you kill the old Arisen, you take his place as Keeper of the World(or something to that effect). From here you have 3 options;

Explore Cassardis as a 'ghost'(thing Predator camo) and fuck with the NPCs there.
Explore Gran Soren as a 'ghost' and fuck with the NPCs there.
Use the Godsbane to view the games true ending and create a game clear save file which you load from the main menu an start NG+.(Select load and not new game.)

    @Rodriguez

So I rested at an inn at lunchtime, and Bunny came back with another load of new gear, including the Lion Helm. So I assume the kit I received yesterday was the first lot you sent. I now have 2 lots of everything.

If anyone else out there has a Ranger pawn, I'd like to pass on all duplicate gear I have received from Rodriguez, so add me, message me, and lots of cool stuff shall be yours.

Lost my DD save on a corrupt USB, but started again and got myself back to level 33. Loving the game so much.

Just realised how much gear I have in storage even this early in the game. Feel free to add me (XBL: Capt F Castle) and I can join in the sharey-love.

I also met my first drake earlier. Was rather a short fight. Heh.

So was mine. It took me completely by surprise. One minute I was kicking the crap out of some hobgoblins, the next I found myself engulfed my a cone of fire. Awesome moment though. My second attempt didn't end well either, if anything it was shorter than the first. Have decided to go and meet the duke instead and advance the story a bit. First impressions if the duke He's a cunt.

@rob if you don't mind i'd quite like that gear as i've mostly played as the various bow classes. Pawn is Yuki.

The Duke is next on my list. Done all the Hunt quests and just a couple of escorts left on the boards (other than all the kill x of y quests in my log).

I've failed a couple if quests but it's one of those games where I take it on the chin and carry on instead of going back a save. Just feels all natural that way.

My pawn is a fully ranked mage at the moment, not sure if I want to lose the healing and turn him into a sorcerer or not. I fully ranked myself as a warrior and am now half way through ranking my second class, although I may go back to warrior afterwards.

More love for Yuki it is then. You'll need to change her to a Ranger if you haven't already otherwise I won't be able to equip the bow etc. I won't be on again until much later tonight if at all today, so there's no hurry.

Haha! Really!? That's nuts, seeing as I mentioned the other day that some of the stuff I sent the first time appeared back in my storage!? If shamblemonkee has claimed some of the duplicate stuff then it looks like it's a win-win for the three of us then \o/

@rob and @rod cheers then fellas. :D I'll change Yuki's vocation when i get home in a few hours then. I've actually just swapped to fighhter at the end of last night to pick up a few of its augmentations so swapping yuki to a bow class could work well.

Hey dude, completely missed this post the other day. Keeping Alania as a Strider could be pretty cool as everyone else (apart from robthehermit's Bunny) is either a magic or fighter/warrior class (I have my pawn Orenda for magic healing/damage and Rafe-tard for combat). I do rather miss Darkmorgado's 'Supershizzle', she was a damn fine Strider, but she's swapped to fighter for his NG+ and I don't think dark has played in a while now, so having Alania round could be useful!

Managed to get a few hours in today. Boy, I love this game. Survived my first night run, constantly on the run and that was fantastic. Resting up on a mountain to see the relieving site of the sun coming up was euphoric to say the least.

Cleared up some side quests and kitted out the guys (thanks oh-bollox for the wolf pelt cape, suits vyrt down to the ground!) And opened up the quarry shortcut.

Took down the ogres in the mines-epic fights they were.

Totally loving ranger. Deadly shot and advanced trigger really suit my playstyle.

Can't get over how atmospheric it is, either by day or by night.

Beer and Euro football now, but more later. Need to level up more to start utilising EG pawns. Currently 21 at the mo

Quick question. When I was fighting hard monsters, there were a few time where about half if its health bar was flashing and the monster was either shielding itself or doing something unique to what it normally does. I assume this is a short window where you can either inflict more damage than usual or take out the amount of health that's flashing. But its not that clear how to do it.

So, how do you do it, assuming my theory is right?

Completed the post-game stuff (which is so brilliantly comprehensive it seems unfair to simply refer to it as that) and started new game plus. Amazing game.

Got next to nothing for helping take down the Ur Dragon though. Just couldn't seem to trouble it at all. And the bugger kept insta-killing my entire party.
