I don't even know what the best place for sales data is anymore- whichever one is use, I'm usually told it's rubbish!

Pick it up from Gameplay for £22.99 if you can, I don't think it'll go much cheaper.

    Ordered!

Mixed emotions of relief and guilt, but I think I made the right decision. There's too many great but obscure games I've missed out on for the DS.

I just started it too. Very promising so far. Zelda OOT has made way for Red and I have to say I'm enjoying this more atm.

About 5hrs in now, this is possibly my favourite game of the year so far.

Dialogue is vibrant and well written, graphics are excellent throughout, really enjoy the all the little sidequests that are popping up.

Particularly enjoying exploring all the various islands, although the flying sections on DAHAK I found to be a little over fiddly, especially in battle.

Other than that, not a single complaint about the title so far, this has the potential to be one of my most cherished DS titles.

Also enjoying this game a lot. Only six hours in though. The gamecentral reviews was good, but I think they were a bit harsh on Red. I've found him to be a fun character so far.

There's a lot of 3DS owners complaining that there are few decent games to play at the moment. I know most didn't buy a 3DS just to play a DS game, but I don't know why they don't pick up this game up to keep them going - it deserves to be played.

Yeh I've got it for my 3DS, it is really enjoyable, I didn't really embrace the RPGs when I had a regular DS lite for some reason.
I'm about 5 hours in and the story is starting to unfold - loveable characters although I'm getting a French vibe in the voices... Is anyone else?
I even like Red himself although he may come across a douche to some.
I seem to be doing a lot of missions for Alman... Possible love interest? ;)
I don't think you can buy it anywhere now for less than 30. I think it will most likely hold it's value too

quite sad that such an amazing game only got a couple of pages so far

probably says it all really, you get people on here moaning about games aimed at the masses and how it's a shame people don't try new things, or don't support smaller developers making amazing games... yet this shows that even the people on here are exactly the same as that too :(

I got this last Sunday, I'm only a few hours in but I'm really enjoying it!

I had the same problem Jelly, I couldn't find the damn thing anywhere in either coventry or Birmingham. I manages to find it in the bull ring Game in the end, in the chart section no less. Anyone who wants this game - save yourself the hassle and just get it online.

    For the emperor!

Enjoying it but the unnecessary dialogue grates after a while. Especially as the actual missions take two seconds.

    Pissy pants.

I basically couldn't afford the game, but bought it any way. I knew the game would hold it's value if I didn't like it or if I really got desperate for cash. But I didn't expect it to become scarce so soon.

The Alam moments always have me grinning "dumpling" :). Yeah there is definitely a bit of French speaking along with Japanese, bit random but w/e.

So far I think it's a great game, but with a few different design choices/deeper mechanics it could've been completely out of this world.

Every word with a m looks like it has an n instead. Technically the words are spelt right, it's just that they have a really wierd (possibly accidental?) m. It looks like an n but the left side is thicker, whereas the n letter used is just a normal n. Odd.

I was mistaken. The conversation text is fine and the m's are normal. It's only the font used for headings and such that has the weird m.

Love the few French words, a million times nicer to listen to than Japanese anyhow.
@Min, I'm going to hve to compare them as I just can't see the difference, very odd either way though.

    Pissy pants.

Is it just a wierd font combined with low resolution?

    @Mowgs
Yeah, I think the French suits it perfectly somehow.

Solatorobo is now out of stock at Game.co.uk, with sellers on Amazon flogging it for £40 with postage. That didn't take long.

Been playing this for the past week or so, and really enjoying it - good mix of RPG and action, altough pretty easy so far.

Actually preferring this to (recently completed) Okamiden.

Shame it's almost impossible to find now...

Edit: I think this is released in the US this week, so should become more readily available...

Yeah the game's easiness is probably it's biggest downside. That said, there's a great amount of stuff to do, the variety is pretty good too.

I play this mostly on the train to/from Plymouth on my way to Uni on Wednesdays, and it serves my gaming needs perfectly for that.

I really do think it's an absolute hidden gem.

Anyone need a copy of this then? I bought it, it's still sealed and I don't think I'll get around to playing it? I'll take what I paid for it - £30?

I'm on (what I assume is) the final chapter - loving it so far! It's pretty much what I wanted Zelda Phantom Hourglass to be, which I was unable to enjoy due to controls and some details in the game's world.

There are some aspects I thought weren't so well done (mostly sudden introduction of all kinds of stuff, in both characterization and game mechanics) but it's just a minor complaint.

The difficulty and controls are just about right - I usually play DS / GBA (still chewing on Polarium Advance) stuff in bed before falling asleep so this kind of "dynamic enough to be engaging but not too much" difficulty level fits perfectly.

    Highly recommended!
