I dabble in it myself, generally with a webcam I converted myself and a 6 inch telescope, but would be nice to get some tips and some chatter going if anyone else does the same?
So does anyone here do astrophotography?

Registered 6 years agoI'm considering doing a bit of Astrophotography, getting a new 8" reflector soon but it's on a Dobsonian mount. Think i'll try a bit of lunar and planetary stuff maybe a few clusters but no DSO's due to lack of tracking. Have you tried taking any shots with a DSLR? -

Registered 11 years agoI've been considering getting an Orion Skyview 1540mm:

On my APS-C body, that one would become a 2310mm lens. Add a 2x teleconverter and you can shoot the landing site flag on the moon. OK, not quite true then.
