    I brought a case that charges your battery from game, after I modifies it slightly (read broke 2 prongs) I just slip it on if I run low on battery and it charges whilst picking up street pass, not that I get many

    I'd like to get that grip that contains a battery that you can get in the US. I used my DS with a sound grip (that I never bothered putting batteries in) most of the time, and it works just as well on the 3DS. It'd be worth buying again if it also stored extra charge.

    @brokenkey I had the same last year when I was in New Zealand only reason I got a hit was because there was a 3DS on display at Auckland

    Sounds like Affides was talking about some portable cradle that includes a battery. Dunno, not seen it myself.

    Anyone else noticed an increase in Streetpass hits since Nintendo enabled the "relay system" via WiFi hotspots?

    In Brighton loads of places have "The Cloud" and after spending just 25 minutes walking around Churchill Square the other day I got 8, making a total of 12 for the day - a personal best!!

    I haven't. There are apparently eight in the town I work in, and after a week of walking around I have one hit!

    @Singularity

    I'm gonna bet there's way more than 8. If you goto The Cloud Hotspot Finder and put your town in it'll tell you where they are.

    The problem isn't necessarily finding a Cloud hotspot, it's whether there's been anyone else with a updated and internet enabled 3DS pass by.

    There's a Could hotspot just minutes from my house, but if I have had a street pass through it, it's only been 1.

    I'm getting far more Streetpasses recently. Still only 1 a day, but almost every one has Animal Crossing so I assume it's people looking to fill their HH Showcases.

    Yeah have they rolled this out then? I was getting one a week despite working in London, now been getting between 8-12 a day!

    @Humperfunk yes I think it was enabled in an update a week or so ago. I am not getting as many as I expected considering I go through Gatwick and Victoria which both have nintendo zones. I have had a 10 and 8 day though which hasn't happened before.

    @Singularity

    Oops (lol)

    We must be very lucky in Brighton then - just between Preston St and Old Steine there's at least 20.

    I might compile a list and walk it next week, lurking around outside shops every few steps looks wierd but soon fills your Plaza up!!

    @Humperfunk

    McDonalds is one. Greggs, Superdrug, WH Smith, Caffe Nero, Phones 4 U, Wetherspoons are just a few of the others :)

    If you meet someone who exclaims "CARNIES!!" when you meet them, then that's me.

    Streetpassing really isn't what it was even two years ago. Now I pretty much have to go to the tourist areas in that there London to be guaranteed any. Made it to Manchester and back the other day with streetpass on all the way, not a sausage.

    I could probably get about 30 a day if I cleared out each 10. Then again, I do work on the railway, if you ever meet TrainBaldy, that's me!

    I thought it was easier now that there are relay stations that give you 10 hits all in one go when you pass? I remember when the system first launched, I was lucky to get one or two a day in London.

    I got someone from a wifi spot over the weekend that is apparently an EG'er, unfortunately I hold the shoulder button when going through the introductions and their message disappeared before I could read it properly. So, if your Mii name is "Jones", hello!

    No, you don't get 10 hits in one go. It normally gives you 3 at a time, I think they're now spacing out how quickly you get the next group, presumably to encourage you to stay in the location longer; the really annoying part is when you hit 9, it doesn't like to give you a tenth one just by itself.
