    Hi folks, sorry if this is annoying. A few months ago me and my pal Scott (who goes by the name OldTrusty on EG) started making video reviews and other sketches about videogames, under the guise of Bit Socket.

    We've been going for a few months now but have been too afraid/ashamed to try any sort of promotion.

    So, if you get tired of the rampant negativity of some video shows online (cough Zero Punctuation) and yous can understand a Glaswegian accent, maybe you can check out our website?

    The most recent review is MVC3, but we'll be sticking our Yakuza 4 review on this week.

    Pinebear, we've just signed up for a Tumblr account, which we'll be using through feedburner as an RSS feed. We've already got a feed at feedburner which we used for our old 'test' blog, but we found that it was hard to do regular updates. Tumblr has an iPhone app that me and Scott will be able to update from wherever we are, so we can spout whatever rubbish comes to our mind, and if you subscribe to it, you won't be able to avoid it.

    We don't have anything on the Tumblr yet, but soon, when I've finished making the proper site, we'll embed the Tumblr feed there.

    If you're concerned about people making comparisons to Consolevania, why not put on stupid East Coast/teuchter accents?

    I once walked past some neds in St. Andrew's, one of whom said in a delightfully sing-song accent, 'I'll jump on your heid.'

    He did not jump on my head.

    If we used East Coast accents we'd have to wear monocles and thick moustaches in every video.

    I know an oddball that wanted to make a digital map of chippers that you could get salt and sauce in. He gave up, presumably because continuing would have led to a gripper from all the fried food.

    I do like it on the chips I must say.

    PS What a shitehouse Bathgate is.
