First game I played? Or first game I owned?

The first I played was probably Alex Kidd - the one that came built-in on the Master System. It belonged to my best friend at the time.

First I ever owned was probably the Mario/Duck Hunt combo on the NES.

I don't remember *loving* it, though. The first game I ever remember clicking with was Smash TV.

Or Blades of Steel. I can't remember which I played first.

The first game I ever played was one of those single game handheld things. It was based on Terminator and played like Space Invaders.

The first game I ever loved was also the first game I ever owned, Disney's Aladdin on MegaDrive.

Being an old fart truly my first game was original cabinet Space invaders I think, though that and Berserk and Galaga might have all been there when I first discovered the local arcade. First game I really loved was Rygar: I was the king of that, I remember having a little crowd behind me watching several times as I battled through levels where none had gone before.

I think I first played on one of those home 'Pong' machines and also Galaxians and Frogger on some console made by Phillips.

But my gaming epiphany was playing on the Spectrum for the first time and seeing games like Manic Miner, Horace goes Ski-ing, Atic Atac and 3d Ant Attack!

Lady Bug, Mr Do!, Cosmic Avenger and Zaxxon on the Atari 2600.

My first gaming love was Creatures on the C64. Brilliant and comically violent (for the time) game.

    FLOPS! RAM!

Can't remember the first game with any certainty without sitting and working out relative dates. Would be one of: Pong, the Game & Watch belonging to some kid my class, that Grandstand Space Invaders game, Moons of Jupiter on a Vic-20 or Galaxian.

First love: Football Manager on the speccy (Kevin Toms legend!). Oh the anticipation waiting for the league table to calculate. The sheer disappointment when the "highlights" for your team was one shot on goal that your stick man punted into row Z.

    First game: Super Mario Kart

Was going to put Final Fantasy VII as the first game I loved but in fairness, Mazza Kart was definitely the first game I loved, was all I played for a fair while.

I think my first ever 'video' game was probably Boot Hill in the arcades, circa 1977.

But my first ever 'love' was obviously this little bugger. Ruined my life, so it did. Here I am, 33 years later, and it's all their fault.

Tetris on the gameboy, it came with it, so it was the first not by choice.

Double Dragon 2 on the gameboy made me fall in love.

YoI'll need to speak up for him:

HE SAID: NOT AT ALL MATE.

I lurk. If I've spoken to you, I'm either impassioned, or drunk.

You are me and I claim my five pounds :-) First game I played was some form of Pong (Intellivision?) and the game that really got me into gaming was Elite.
