Aww, don't stop ronuds from saying stuff. He's like the slightly demented grandma of the thread.

    "Where's the wall?"

"You saw it last episode, grandma."

"Oh, ok. Why is there a wall?"

"It's to keep the ice zombies out."

"Wait, ice zombies? I don't recall them being in the series."

"They've been there since season 1, grandma."

"Well, why don't they go south then? Nice and warm there."

"There's a wall in the way, grandma."

    "Wall? I don't remember that."

How tiny she was, Been a very good Arya so far and i really liked the scene with her asking about if it would be possible to bring Ned back.

I hope that's not a pun about violence against dwarves. You're on (a) thin (wall of) ice as it is!

I think maybe I noticed this way back in the mists of series 1, but I was just struck again by how they give a little heraldic sigil next to everyone's name in the credits; it's a really nice touch.

I was also struck by the conversation between Cersei and Mayor Tommy Littlefinger where she says Tywin appreciates facts, and Littlefinger says "myself, I often find them a hindrance". Such a sly little line, sums up the character.

It does sum him up in one sentence. Not only does he view facts as a negotiable commodity, he's trying to ally himself with her by almost flattering her.

    Great episode.

The bit with Dondarrion was a holy shit moment in the books and it was the same in the show. They are really doing the source material justice.

Why are you spoilering that? This is the Game of Thrones US Pace thread. He's been in the show for a couple of weeks now, with his name being used and everything.

I mean, sure, Ronuds doesn't know who he is and he's going to be super-double-confused after Thoros's little party trick, but he wouldn't know who he was even if you said

    "BERIC!

BERIC DONDARRION! HE GOT SENT AFTER THE MOUNTAIN, IN SERIES ONE. SERIES ONE!
BY NED STARK! NED STARK! YOU REMEMBER! SEAN BEAN, YES, BOROMIR, THAT'S RIGHT, VERY GOOD.

I not sure that paying attention is the same as 'addicted' and I think you'd have been better off posting: "NEEEERRRRRDS" :)

I have completely forgotten about Dondarrion and what he did in S01.
    Who is "The mountain"?

OK, I remember him (vaguely). CAn't remember Boromir sending Robin Hood after him though.

I like the new religion stuff. Will be interesting to see if there's a connexion between the merry men and the red witch. And why did Locksley 2.0 turn into a new faither?

    Good stuff ahead.

When was the break btw? Now?

Dany is one of the hottest characters ever. Her 'honeymoon' scene was one of my favourite tv sex scenes.

Bloody hell Tonka, you Swedish Ronuds.

He's the giant guy who jousted Loras in the first season, then cut his own horse's head off..
Works for Tywin Lannister, was apparently causing mayhem and atrocities in the Riverlands, so Ned Stark sent some men, including some of his own men, after him in the name of the King, led by Dondarrion who was one of the lords at court.
He got replaced by a different actor, and only got a couple of little scenes - we see Tywin giving him some orders at Harrenhal when Arya's there.

I'm not sure it's in the series, but it is in the audition tapes, that he's a murderous fucker who burned his own brother's face when they were kids. That's why the Hound is all burnedy and afraid of fire, and why he refuses to be a knight.

Maybe you think audition tapes stuff is a spoiler, if so don't click the link, obviously.

I think Littlefinger mentions your spoilered stuff to Sansa at some point in the first series. Possibly at the joust.

Or I could be as forgetful as ronuds...
