I let out a little squee when I saw Ms Rigg, excellent talent, and a brilliant scene.

Continuing to plunder the British acting bank, aren't they? Paul Kaye, that kid from Love Actually and Nannie McFee as the Warg who finds Bran also Simon from Misfits in the dungeon.

So many plotlines! All too exciting!

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

So is 'Skins' still winning in the 'Which would win if all the former actors from various brit tv shows currently appearing in GoT had a massive fucking brawl'? (im working on a better title).

Hollyoaks was doing well till Louise decided to nob that ethnic man and got sealed in a vault.

Who's in it from Skins? I recognise the Blacksmith but that's about it.

Gilly (the wife of Craster that Fat Sam get's friendly with) is the kooky blond one from Skins. She's still alive i think.

I was looking forward to Paul Kaye's appearance in this... Until he started doing those stupid betting app adverts where he is dressed as a woman. That image just immediately popped into my head when he apeared last night.

He was hit on the head by his own men and dragged off, guess we aren't meant to know where he is and why just yet though.

He was left for dead by the Iron Islanders in Winterfell when they fled. Bolton's Bastard sacked Winterfell instead of saving it; killing everybody and capturing Theon for his own sadistic pleasure.

Aah right cheers, must've missed the Bolton Bastard Sacking Winterfell bit. I thought Theon had set fire to it.

Really should've watch season 1 and 2 again before 3.

@Buztafen We are meant to think Theon's men sacked Winterfell at the end of Season 2. In fact everyone believes that's what happened, even Rob Stark. I thought Sunday's episode made the truth of it pretty clear.

But is it clear (in the show) that they're Bolton men? I don't recall that being revealed. But could easily be wrong!

@Mola_Ram Hmm, not sure now. I might have to rewatch it. I was under the impression that Rob Stark mentions news from Bolton's bastard in a conversation with his mother right before cutting to the torture scene, which is how the show seems to handle jump cuts to different character arcs. We also know that Bolton's bastard was despatched to 'save Winterfell' in Season 2 and that they aren't Iron Islanders, as the floor sweeper mentions a plan for Theon's sister (I forget her name) to come rescue him.

Who ever suggested Rigg's needs several pats on the back. She was brilliant in her scene.

And yes its made clear Bolton's men have Theon.

Ok, I must have missed it. I mean, I know already from the books, but was unsure as to whether the show had mentioned it.

At the very least, Theon doesn't know. Poor guy.

I don't think it's clear who has Theon from the episode...

EDIT: I thought he had been taken by the Iron Islanders after being knocked out; we didn't see anything after that point last season. As pointed out in some of the spoiler tagged comments I think there are some lines to Robb about Bolton's bastard and an assumption that Theon burnt Winterfell. If one assumed the Islanders took Theon then the assumption would be about right but it doesn't look like the Islanders did take him so...

I wonder if Ramsey Bolton is one of the ones in this episode. Or maybe even the guy who claims to have come to save him. Seems unlikely Theon's sister would be able to get an actual spy in there.

    Have you read the books?

Yes that was Ramsey and the games with Theon are about to begin.

It's been a while since I read them, so certain details escape me.

But yes, not going to talk about that. :-P

That's actually simple a ''spoiler'' because it was announced ages ago who was playing him and they even gave a pic. recognized him right away. :-P

The Northmen were outside the castle (Theon was complaining about one of them constantly blowing the horn) and the Viking guys were trapped and doomed. It was pretty obvious one of them bopped him on the back of the head because they were planning (or had already arranged) to hand him over in exchange for their lives.

I don't know if it's mentioned which specific Northmen he was being given to.
