Right ... so I'm back on track with that.
    Next up: the watch.

Again .. off the top of my head so probably not completely accurate.
They sent out a fairly large party to try and ..euh .. .not sure what they wanted to achieve actually.
Check out what's true of the rumours about wildlings amassing, white walkers, ... god knows.
They stay over at Caster's place, where samwise ... I mean the sidekick fatty who's name I just forgot, falls in love and John follow Caster when he puts a baby boy out in the woods.
The Half hand goes scouting with a few men and John in tow. The rest goes up to some little mountain peak where samwise-not-really-samwise finds obsidean/dragonglass arrowheads.
John captures a wildling girl. The half hand souting party gets captured by wildlings and John gets ordered to infiltrate the wildlings, having to kill the half hand to win their trust.
What happened to the main bunch in the meantime?
Did they have a big fight with walker on their little hilltop at the end of last season? I don't remember it but the start of this episode seem to hint at a battle having taken place with everyone looking a bit worse for wear and one white walker going after samwise-not-samwise.
Now their plan is to walk back to the wall and John has managed to gain the wildlings trust.

    Something like that?

He's with Bran though so that counts as one arc in my head :).

As lovely as she is, the Tyrion & Bron show would be much more interesting

This^. Though hasnt it been like...fucking donkeys years since anyone has seen a dragon (till Danny B Cup turned up with 3), why is the place still smoking!

EDIT: Are we spoilering things in here. I thought this was the sky/pirate bastards thread?
Anyway there are plenty of dragons - they're just asleep pretending to be Stannis's castle ;)
Now you decide not to spoiler - great job!

    :p

Was that a white walker going after samwise? I thought it was a zombie like the ones that turned up at the wall. It did not look like the white walker samwise saw at the end of the last series.

Isn't White Walker just a way of avoiding saying 'we've got Zombies in this too!'?

I thought the thing samwise got a look at was destinctly different.

Here you go. That is what he saw at the end of the last series.

I guess it could still be a zombie.

The Clegane Brothers (Sandor and Gregor, AKA The Hound and The Mountain) are pretty much my favourite characters - this was the case before the show, and remains so thanks to excellent casting (Mainly Sandor; Gregor was played by another actor for Season 2)

Hoping to see them next week.

    Speculation, dear boy :p
Heh I know. Though did you mean the ones in Kings Landing? I've not seen anything to suggest that there are any asleep in Stannis' basement.

    Am I doing this right?

Dragonstone, yeah, it used to be the seat of the house of Targaryen, hence the castle shape. Hmm can't wait to find out :)

A right. Dunno. If you were to compare white walker zombies to vampires, I think the thing attacking samwise was a recent bite victim. A corpse resurrected as a white walker/zombie with blue eyes.

The thing in your picture is probably more like count dracula. The source of white walkerness that turns corpses into bay-blue-eyed zombies.

    ^^speculation

Zulu, the castle is carved in the shape of dragons. 'Carved', yeah right.

The address is a dead giveaway too:

    Dragonnest,

    The Island with Dragons on
    Dragon
    Dragonshire
    DR1 G0N
I thought it was just called dragonstone?

Good speculation Leo and most likely true. The fucker is SO going to die before finishing this :(

Our best hope is that some HBO writer types can make do and finish it themselves.

@Salaman There definitely seem to be multiple stages going on. We have the newly dead coming back and then the thing samwise saw. If they are just different stages of the same thing I am not sure at this point.
