I was reading something recently that suggest two great names for dogs.

    Steve Holt and Anne Perkins.

It would be great fun shouting those names at the park.

Finished the first season this week (just 6 eps right)

Overall I liked it, certainly no Curb, Community, AD, 30 Rock. Mrs Will Arnett is pretty good. Will Arnett does turn up at some point right?

The first season is the weakest so maybe after finishing the third season you'll rank it among your favorites.

I totally agree with Charlie. It's pretty decent but not in the same league as those mentioned.

    And yes, he does :)

I prefer it to all those, it gets a lot better. A lot better. When rob Lowe turns up. Killer.

Almost halfway into Seasn 2 now and it has gotten a lot better. Some genuine laugh out loud moments each ep. The Lot itself seems to be relegated to the backgound but that's OK.

Getting Andy into the building was genius as he's easily the best character. However the brother from Lars in Real Life has done fuck all this season so far. In fact him and Anne add nothing.

Will Arnett was OK, he's OK in 30 Rock as well. I guess GOB really was the role of a lifetime.

Rob Lowe was the best thing about season 2.

And that's season 2. Keeps getting better and better.

April and Andy making it at the moment. Tom had a late season renaissance ('Am I right Justin?'). Rob Lowe was OK, didn't do much, but so it goes with guest spots in 22 min sit-coms.

I like how they bring back the actors for the smaller parts, the jurno, tom's ex-wife, the host on the morning show, 2 characters from the beauty pageant ep..

Bit of a let down Season 3 so far, having Rob Lowe join the cast was a mistake. He adds nothing and it's jarring how they kept him around for so long. Don't mind the other guy but his role is just as a love interest for Amy. Meh.

Andy and April have jumped the shark - they just annoy me now.

    Anne adds nothing, still.

Tom is the same guy from Season 1, Ep 1. No growth at all, he gets some good lines but I have enough friends like him in real life.

So yeah, back end of Season 2 I was loving it. Now I can take it or leave it.

Exact opposite to how I felt.

Season 3 I fell in love with the show. Love Rob Lowe and April.

    Tom is underused, though.

To be fair to Tom, if there is no Tom there is no Jean-Ralphio. That would be a disaster.

    Tom and Jean-Ralphio spin-off please.

You referring to Adam Scott as the other guy leads me to think you haven't seen Party Down yet. Go see it.

Have to second that Party Down love. Track it down immediately, especially for the revelation that is Lizzy Caplan.

Also, I thought Andy and April were absolutely wonderful this season. Their wedding was maybe the best episode of anything I've seen this year. Hilarious, but also very touching.

I caught the Party Down ep with Steve Guttenberg on TV a few months ago. Didn't do much for me tbh.

Finished Season 3 last night (3 eps knocked off). Last two eps were the low point but I'll keep watching come September.

Amazingly they are all set up to go with a Tom and Jean-Ralphio spin-off, but that's not going to happen.

At 79 minutes that's got to be one of the shortest big name films in recent times^

Season 4 started last night, got to say it's great to have some decent TV to look forward to again after the summer haitus. This, Community, Modern Family, Raising Hope and The Office all back this week

Solid opening episode, learned something about Jerry I would never have guessed :D

Great start I agree, really funny. Tom is as awesome as ever, was funny how it was definitely much cruder. But yeah totally love this show.

I have only just started watching this too, finished season 1, and I love it! Not sure why it wasn't on my radar before

Second the Party Down recommendation, a wonderful little show, shame we won't get any more of it :(

The wedding episode and the snakebite episode were brilliant, and how dare you rejoice in the death of 'lil Sebastian?

So every week I watch The Office, Community and this.

I have to say Parks is above and beyond the best, it's in my opinion the funniest shit on tv, this weeks gave me actually belly laughs which for being such a hard to please bastard was some feat.

"she's going to powder her vagina?"

In my opinion this show is all about Ron, the other characters are incidental. Rob Lowe is ok and Andy is often really funny (but sometimes misses the mark), Amy is very good but I find her character irritating (by design I guess but maybe a little too much). Ron steals the show though.

Have you seen Archer? I'm not sure I'd rate it above P&R, but it's a very close second.

I liked when Adam Scott talked about Star Trek this week.

Andy can drop that FBI persona, that got old fast.
