    Basically, this woman's son goes to the above store, someone recommends him a 15+ game, and his only ID is his Oyster card which isn't legally binding ID in their stores.

    So she gets all hysterical and demands to speak to their CEO, and then moans about how it's not like it's alcohol he's buying as if that's somehow a valid point in her defence.

    STILL holding on after 8mins to spk to a human at GAME Ox st where they refused to sell my 17 yr son a 15 + game. Now they've cut me off.

    HIs 16 plus Oyster card. Plus the sales asst advised these games for him. The cashier then said no.
    he doesn't have a licence! He is 17. How many kids go out with their passport. We are not talking drink, but a 15plus video!
    He's gone back with passport to prove and speak to the manager as he didn't ask to see her first time. I am training him! Takes time!

    I think it's fair enough that they knocked him back over the ID issue. I like how she says 'It's not as if it's alcohol', which shows she obviously thinks all games are for kids.

    You can bet if he managed to get hold of GTA4 and she caught him beating a prostitute to death with a pool cue after she'd fallated him in the back of a Corsa she'd be going batshit mental.

    She clearly sent him in there praying he would walk out with an 18+ GAME and she probably has her indignation speech prepared that an Oyster card is NOT a valid form of ID. Now that went all tits up she has to salvage it. Tool.

    Valid ID in her eyes not under games Policy of accepted ID, its like why bouncers, clubs and pubs generally only take passports and driving licenses and not bus passes or other vague unofficial forms of ID

    This happened to me when I was 17. I tried to buy Bottom (15) on VHS and the smug cunt in WH Smith wouldn't sell it to me. He knew aswell, the little bleeder. I had to phone my dad and get him to buy it for me. Oh, the humiliation.

    You'd think, to be honest, that a self-proclaimed "retail expert" would be aware of what constitutes valid ID.

    Like has already been said, it genuinely wouldn't surprise me if she was trying to get a sting so she could write about how "OMG MY SON WAS SOLD A VIDEOGAME WITHOUT VALID ID"
