Anybody got any good advice on what to do with a load of old tech I don't need? It's mostly routers that I have no use for anymore. It seems that, unlike the States, we don't have any companies dedicated to recycling old equipment and I'm struggling find any charities that would take it.

    Ta very much.

We do, it's just that they charge for collection and recycling rather than just accepting donations.

There's a handful of free ones here though - http://www.itforcharities.co.uk/pcs.htm

Thanks for the help, guys. I'm not bothered about selling any of it but it just seems a waste to junk it. I'm going to go with the sexbot though.

    Reuse

At the top of the recycling chain is reuse. It really is the way forward and ensures that mobile phones get a new lease of life by using as little energy as possible. We reuse almost all handsets somewhere in the world, often in developing economies where access to mobile phones makes a real difference to people’s lives.
