    I missed this.

If he's promise that, he's done it to get the Lib Dem's on board in case of another hung parliament.

Nope. Blair did it and then backtracked. Don't trust any of the main parties to do it.

    Oh dear.

Remember that UKIP MEP who made the bongo-bongo comment?

At the UKIP conference, he said the "room is full of sluts".

Oh, and then he assaulted a journalist.

He's now been suspended. BBC have just shown the full footage of his full-on temper tantrum when questioned about it. Oh dear.
It was a Tour De Force of stupidity. There was the slut comment, then he has amnesia and can't remember anything, he then pretends to find something someone says to him racist and it was an incredibly bad bit of acting, he practically runs away, physically assaults someone who didn't attack him first, then carries on storming off in a strop. How old is he? At the very least he should be thrown out of UKIP and should really be arrested. Anybody else wrapping a brochure round someone's face would be knicked!

    He's in his 70s I believe.

Ha just watched it. It's hardly assault. And I think he's just upset with the journalist for not being a better racist.
Technically it is assault. If the journalist in question reported it then it would go down as assault and old blokey would be arrested for it (it's a physical attack).

Though at this stage I think that's the least of his worries.

    @BeardedGamerUK

They're focussing on this on Newsnight right now.

    Very, very embarassing.

Bloom:"Are you saying your mother never called you a slut?"
Nesnight Journalist: "No, she's called me many other things but nothing like that"
Bloom: "Oh well, you must be a very tidy person"

I'd love to have been a fly on the wall when Farage heard about it.

The armed forces should seek to make British involvement in future wars more palatable to the public by reducing the public profile of repatriation ceremonies for casualties
Thats nice, die for your country, now we'll sweep you under the carpet.

I heard Michael Gove on Radio 4 earlier covering himself in glory talking about potentially taking away all benefits for some under 25's, thereby legitimising a criminal underclass. If someone won't accept poor training and a piss take of an offer of so called education and have their benefits taken away, then obviously they are going to turn to crime. He also went out of his way to defend the right of the press to print what it wants, in the wake of the fuss over the Daily Heil and the muckraking by them about Ed Milliband's father. He also rather patronisingly said that he knew what it was like to not have much money when he was young. Bullshit! He's an absolute c*nt!

Young people are defined as "Under 25". It seems a bit arbitrary really to my mind, but I'm sure there's some sort of reasoning behind it, probably defined in law somewhere. You don't, after all, suddenly wake up on your 25th birthday and magically become an old person.

Well, usually. It was my 30th birthday for me that did it :D
