“The problem is that there is a view out there, borne of ignorance I’m afraid, that all cohabiting relationships are of equal worth, of equal value, of equal stability. I’m afraid they are not.”
    unghhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Don't worry, Tories. As long as you keep saying 'low taxes', 'small state', 'Brexit' and 'market economy', everything will be fine. Let's just ignore all the rest of it, ey.

Is this in reference to Simom Bodkin aka Lee Nelson trying to hand May a P45 at the conference before being booted out.

Nah he just waved a P45 in front of her face for a minute as she gave her speech. She made it through unscathed. Unfortunately.

If you half close your eyes it could instead be read as "OR EVERTON".

She, was just to illustrate the gulf between her and Maybe in terms of acting like a human.

Well she did have a severe bout of coughing during the speech, but I think that was to do with a loose bolt from one of her internal gears.

And they wonder why voters accuse them of being old fashioned and toxic.

    That was agony.

Between the P45, coughing fit and sign falling off the wall I feel sorry for her.

Plus Lee Nelson is such a dickhead I feel duty bound to hate everything he does

He compared marriage to buying into a golf club membership, which would see men sign up for “absurd things” and claimed the current system financially rewarded single people.

Sir Paul Coleridge, chairman of the Marriage Foundation, also spoke at the event.

He said: “The problem is that there is a view out there, borne of ignorance I’m afraid, that all cohabiting relationships are of equal worth, of equal value, of equal stability. I’m afraid they are not.”

    What fucking century is it?
It's the kind of thing you'd go on about if you *were* married and deep down really regretted it.

I weirdly don't mind Lee Nelson, even though I hate that type of prankster comedy. Also, you have to admit that this was actually pretty funny.

I hate Lee Nelson and I was ashamed of myself for smirking when I seen it pop onto my Twitter feed. Here's the letter:

Technically it's Simon Brodkin. Lee Nelson is the chav character he does.

This was a far more effective piece of satire despite being entirely accidental.

All in all, given her coughing fit, the set collapsing around her, and the P45 I think that nobody is going to be talking about any of the actual content of the speech outside of wonkish political types.

Building more council houses is the only one that really broke through the fuck ups. She also reaffirmed the energy price fixing policy from the election.
