Have to exclude hoverboards I'm afraid, the exploding batteries put them into the "previously seen" category.
That's right! God I'm rubbish at this. This is why I'm not in control of transport security.

Oh right. So a co-ordinated chemical attack by drone on all of the country's reservoirs, you say?

Is this an inside tip? Or did you just want us all to say "oooh Danone"?

It was more a call-out to the shorting of airline shares just before 9-11. If you see the Evian share price spike, someone's been reading this thread for terrorist attack tips.

I do hope more details come out soon. BBC don't even have it on breaking news yet.

Edit: Well now they do, now that I've posted. A Police officer was stabbed, so it looks like the use of firearms might've been required.

Yeah, cartoonist Quentin Letts saw it from his office. Car crash on Westminster Bridge, thickset man in black stabs one copper. Other copper raises the alarm and the bloke is then shot by plain-clothes officers. What we don't know is if the car crash was related - my assumption is that it has to have been either as a separate incident (or even the car the assailant arrived in)

Bill Clinton's eulogy at Martin McGuinness's funeral, incredible power:

"He expanded the definition of 'Us', and shrank the definition of 'Them'".

Not that it affects the point of your post at all, I'll just note that I don't think Mr Letts has ever had a cartoon published, or if he has it probably wasn't very good. He's a columnist, theatre critic, and I think writes parliamentary sketches. The fact that he looks and sounds something like a cartoon character from the golden age is neither here nor there.

Edit: Regarding the grit of your post, the BBC have been reporting already since last night that the single attacker was the driver of the car that crashed after causing carnage on Westminster bridge. He exited the car, dropping one of the knives he was carrying, and scooted round the corner and somehow got into the palace yard (the grassy bit with the taxi rank for ministers in the middle of it) where he took out one copper and then got shot by another. Dunno where they got their informations; citations on the news channel are even worse than wikipedias.

Edit2: And now noticing the date of your post, it precedes when I first noticed the BBC reporting that. This thread has been quiet today.

@mal yes, you're quite right. I didn't think that sounded right, must've said 'columnist'. I was trying to recall his political satire and was struggling...

All commentary is in the international terrorism thread

Brilliant. Now they've no MPs. Just need CCTV of Nuttell at home during Hillsborough and he'll be gone too.

The money from Russia has probably dried up since Brexit happened so even less reason for UKIP to exist.
