I use the free version of SuperDuper to keep an up-to-date bootable backup for the Macbook on a spare drive.|
My sister's just bought a new Windows 7 machine after their last laptop died - can anybody recommend a SuperDuper equivalent for a PC?

Had a look at Syncback last night. I see that you can make backups, and restore your data (including tree structures etc), but can you make a bootable backup, i.e. If you get a hard drive failure, you can boot up from an external drive, then recover the backups that you (obviously) made?
Documentation for the freeware was unclear on this point.
