    Tried searching on Shazam but it was inconsistent and I received different suggestions each time. It wasn't useful at all. I searched through the comments too. Your best bet is to send a message to the creator of the video.

    Yeah, Soundhound didn't pick it up either. It's probably an in-house song.

    Probably an original track by Susumu Hirasawa, the composer on the film. Does anyone know if it's used in the film proper - I've not seen it yet, though I've had it on my lovefilm list for ages now.

    Hirasawa's stuff typically features synths and vocals. The track featured in the video had neither; so I doubt it's from him, but it's worth researching anyway.

    Fair point - I listened to the opening theme after posting that, and it is rather different stylistically.
