    2000 seems a lot...

A couple of the indie zombie games are pretty decent from memory, and if Plants V Zombies wasn't on sale every two weeks anyway, that might be an alternative. There's always the Left4Dead DLC that has never been on sale I suppose?

Dead Rising 2: Off The Record has always been tempting at 1840 points... anyone know if that counts? Costume Quest in a sale (for 160 points) might be enough to sway me.

Anyone have any idea what these birthday rewards are yet? And does it mean mine or my Live account's birthday?

Ha ha, this month's survey is about how satisfied you are with the Rewards programme. Seems like a dangerous thing to ask just now. :D

Have they posted a list of qualifying games purchases yet? If by some strange miracle there is actually 2000 points worth of games I want to buy then it's not too bad. Don't forget you'd get another 40 points from the gamerscore rebate as well.

Yep - points, points, points. Damn it! I don't even spend 'em - I just want them.

And more VIP rewards, ffs. I've had XBL since it first came out for the original XBOX. I should get stock options or some shit!

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY NEXT WEEK! And look, here's my email from Xbox Live Rewards... What have they got me?

    Hi Mr Tom FTW,

    Happy Birthday Month!

Congratulations! This month you'll be another year wiser. But what's a birthday without a sweet surprise? Try this: Enjoy 20 Microsoft Points as our gift to you. Use it towards anything you wish in the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Your birthday Microsoft Points will be automatically deposited into your Xbox LIVE account by the 15th of the month.

It's just one of the fun extras that you get for reaching CONTENDER, CHAMPION or LEGEND status on MyAchievements from Xbox LIVE Rewards. Now, take a deep breath and blow out those candles!

Hoping your birthday wishes come true,

    Xbox LIVE Rewards Team
It's like opening a birthday present and finding a biro inside.

Is there a list of items that cost 20msp anywhere? The only item I could find for 20 points through the dashboard was a picture of Major Nelson laughing.

Well, I am going to try and change my birth month every month, to see what happens.

Sure, it's barely worth it, but every little helps.

It's my birthday in a few days and I haven't got an e-mail, how am I going to be able to buy anything without those points?!

@Mr-Brett Perhaps you should check that you have actually set your date of birth in your Live account? I hadn't, and so I, too was at risk of missing out on this enormous act of generosity on the part of Microsoft.

Considering the hoops some of you have jumped through for a couple of quids worth previously, Iím surprised getting 20 free isnít the best thing ever.

Just checked and my dob is on my windows live account which isn't surprising since the new dashboard update makes you give them just about every detail you can think of for 'security'.

A strange entity approaches you and offers you 20 Microsoft Points in exchange for your birthdate so he can give you a present
    Do you
    a) run away calling for mummy
    b) ask for a sweet instead
    c) tell him it's your birthday every month

@Daddy-Doom-Bar - yep, bet she changes her dob too to try and scrounge even more points!

We may mock but I've had 1200 points from them now, which isn't awful for very little effort. And that doesn't count the time their system glitched and gave me 1800 points...

They finally cracked out a qualifying list just a few minutes ago. But better late than never! :)

DR2: OTR is on there, and gets you 1840 points closer to the target! :p

I registered for XBox Live rewards a few weeks ago, have been a Gold member since last December, and have over 25,000 Gamerscore. But on the Live Rewards page it doesn't say that I have unlocked Contender, Champion or Legend. Why doesn't it recognise my gamerscore?

New survey up, 5 questions of how awesome the Xbox is basically, shouldn't take longer than 20 seconds for the 20 points.

    This space left intentionally blank.

Got a thank you for ten amazing years.

    Thank You, SERIOUSLY.

It says for me, 0 Multiplayer hours and 0 Friends. Stats are wrong as ever.

    Not even an avatar award.

You weren't even around for ten years, fuck you rewards! :p
