Fergie will carry on until we find him cold, slumped over his desk.

Moyes to Chelsea this summer and he'll take Fellani with him. Jose to City or PSG.

    Hated, adored, never ignored.

surely the "potential" of a team with 2-3 world class players in each position should be more than to drop out of the CL every year in the group stages, and scrape the league on goal difference?
I'm sure a decent manager of players, and one with a better eye in the transfer market, would have won the league at least twice by a considerably larger margin than Mancini and given the investment there really is no reason why at least one CL-final hasn't been reached yet.

How he's kept his job this long is beyond me.

He has kept it because city won the league for the 1st time in yonks. I do think his signings have been awful this season though

Walcott had a really good game yesterday. Stood up and was counted after having signed a lucrative new contract. Fair play to the lad.
Its a bit of an easy swipe to make. He didnt so much have a poor game, more Vertonghen and, to a lesser extent, Dawson had a great one.
MotD actually did a piece on how good Walcott was, which I found surprising. Seems he made a lot of good runs, but nobody found him.

Zonal Marking have done an excellent review of the game today, as always.

    Conclusion

The game was effectively won before half-time. In an amazingly open match with two staggeringly high defensive lines, Spurs were superior in three areas. First, the defence adjusted their position and dropped deeper. Second, they put more pressure on the ball and stayed compact, to deny Arsenal too many opportunities to play through-balls. Third, their timing of passes and runs was perfect for the two goals.

The third point is, of course, related to the first two – Arsenal’s made it simple for Spurs, who didn’t need to play their best football to win.

    PSG?
Pfft, you think I'm gonna let some silly irrelevant word stop my sarcastic point?

@kalel Tactics? Pfft, who needs it.
Let the players sort it out themselves.

Didnt agree with Sol on MotD about Walcott. Central, direct running does not equate with an "excellent game". He did make runs yes, but he wasn't pulling defenders with him and all of his runs started in front if the defence and not off the shoulder so he was easy to track.

Other than stare at the ceiling, I thought he was ok.

Thought Sol was really awkward and weird btw. He looked like he was coming up on something.

Still, I do enjoy watching Hartson being torn on having a boner for Bale but hating Spurs.

He wasn't pulling defenders with him because the rest of the Arsenal squad were clueless with their role in attack. It is easy defending against an individual. Walcott was the only Arsenal player actively using his brain yesterday. He recognised the high line you were playing and adjusted his game. Everyone else on the Arsenal team seemed to think it was some sort of possession game when it was more centred around breaking vertically and with speed.

Have to say I have a sneaky feeling for Villa tonight, especially with Aguero out. Nice draw-no-bet punt.

I think Toure will dominate our midfield today, if he was still away then it might be possible but he's just such a great player I can't see our midfield handling him at all well.

You are a factory of sadness.

I think the commentator is right in some ways in that he had no one to pass to but with that little left in the game just fucking hoof it. My God, after all that effort we concede that!

On the plus side, Guzan has been excellent again. He is such a quality keeper.

You are a factory of sadness.
