Hart is a fantastic keeper. The best keeper I've seen in the flesh at the age of 20 - superhumanly good and always destined for the very top of his profession. I wouldn't trust De Gea to catch a cold.
It truly is a mind boggling comparison.

I thought we were discussing the City game.

Ok fine, lets carry on comparing Hart and De Gea. Here's a good point of comparison. Joe Hart cost 750k. De Gea cost 17m. And most would take Hart anyday over De Gea, so really not sure why Man U fans are so quick to make the comparison.
Comparing this season. Think they have both had solid seasons so far with mistakes
De Gea has saved more this season, has a higher save percentage and has made less mistakes than Hart. The media agenda is pretty clear, at times it feels like a deliberate attempt to unsettle the goalkeeper. Then people expect Utd fans to just ignore it, and when they don't, they're "bitter". Anyway, the Taibi II tag seems to be working OK for De Gea, so as long as other teams continue to think he's rubbish it won't be so bad. I remember Jamie Redknapp saying on Sky that De Gea had a reputation in Spain for being dodgy from long range shots. Then the next game we played, the other team had 20 shots from long range which were all easily saved.

Are City terrible now or does the new Southampton manager maybe know what he is doing?

Yeah, was like his 2nd or 3rd game against Spurs and VdV had about a dozen shots from outside the box. Handy 3-0 that was

I highly doubt that what Jamie Redknapp has to say has ever effected any managers gameplan ever.

If it has then everyone in this thread could do a better job at management than that manager.

Yea i remember that even tho is was the top shot stopper in Spain. To be fair Redknapp is just bitter Neville is a better pundit.

Has to get noticed somehow :)

Think it's a mixture of both. Southampton really have been very good. Pressing alone has been top class. Ricky Lambert looks about ready to keel over.

It was his Dad's spurs team so maybe it was one of Harry's top top plans he was sharing.

To be fair Saints have been working towards a big win for a while, the level of imrovement over the course of the season has been immense.

It'll suck when City have a proper manager.

    Brap, brap, old chap.

Well played Southampton. Entertaining game, and it should make anyone involved with Stoke feel fucking embarrassed.

By the way what are the odd on us winning title at Emirates? Also and Arsenal player leaves and they win something straight away? Hmmm :)

To be fair. There's going to be a lot of rotation in the United team tomorrow with an eye on the Madrid game, and Everton have a bit of a habit of turning it on against United over the last couple of seasons.

Wouldn't surprise me if it's still 9 points next week.

    Brap, brap, old chap.

I'd be happy with a point against Everton if I'm honest. If we pick up all three the league is looking done and dusted though. Would be a massive win.

Fergie wants revenge for last year and we haven't done the double on Utd since... I can't remember. Have we ever? Probably in the 80s if at all.

By that time Gervinho is going to be back and firing on all cylinders, so you won't be winning that game.

More likely 10, but even if it's still 9 that's one week fewer in which to catch up.

Dont think there will be much rotation as after Madrid its Fa Cup on a Monday. Beat Everton and that really ties it up more or less.

I reckon QPR and everyone there are just part of Starbuck's attempts to avoid even more tax.
