Yeah Momo was reasonable. He got a move to Juventus from Liverpool so he was doing something right.

What would've been funny is if the lights came on and Michael Jackson appeared.

Good strength in depth here. Defoe injured and no other strikers to bring on.

    Textbook.

To be fair, we've only needed to buy a striker fir around the last 5 years.

Did Spurs really wait till deadline day to try to buy one?

Not like you needed Holtby either... Think that was an amazing bit of business though.

    - Wait until the last day of the window
    - Lowball a club for a biggish-name striker
    - They tell you to fuck off

    Daniel Levy, master negotiator

(No doubting Levy's done some great deals, but his approach to bringing in the 'next level' striker is bizarre)

It's just AVB's way of bringing about the Barca formation early.

Looks like it. Whether it was meant to be at him, who knows. Stupid either way.

The replay made it look like he was definitely spitting at Walker. Didn't hit him, but that's really not the point.

Holtby reminds me of Lee Dixon.

    Replay definitely looked intentional.

Yeah, only seen that one angle though, didn't know if there was another angle. Doesn't look good though. Had the sound down, was very confused till the replay! Hard to argue on that evidence.

Pretty clearly deliberate, I doubt he'll get away with it. What a dumb thing to get dismissed for.

That's unfortunate. Looks like Long is injured just as they've replaced Lukaku.
