Really, really want him. He's a superb player. Bossed us in both games.

insanely good price too. If you get him, and it looks like you will, you've got yourself a great hardworking player.

He'll be even cheaper next season if he gets himself a release clause.

Hopefully Arsene can pull it off. He impressed against us in the CL.

Would be a terrific signing for Newcastle. A welcome addition to the PL, either way.

Doubt we'll be in for him. Hope we will, but doubt it.

Sounds like he's just getting on with it at Juve, and is reaping the rewards.

Loved Swansea's first goal. Little left back goes shoulder to shoulder with 3 of stokes back 4, comes out out on top and slots it into the bottom corner.

Is that a new Stoke away kit? Is it ironic?

Suspect he's a long term target but not a priority right now, but Newcastle interest has made us look again. Sounds like too late though.

Newcastle don't exactly have any pulling power at the moment, so match the offer we made and he will almost 100% be yours.

Then SAF was right to let him go!

He's had problems at Juve too. Missed training a couple of times and a few other misdemeanours iirc. Seems like a bit like Balotelli in many ways, I think you'll see him work his way out of Turin in a couple of years when another club offers him more money. He might grow out of it though.

What confuses me is that he's available for next to fuck all, with seemingly little interest in from elsewhere. He impressed me against us in the CL, but something doesn't quite stack up. There must be reservations for some reason.

Tevez continues to endear himself to the City fans:

Tevez said: "I've got a year left on my contract at Manchester City and they want me to sign for two more seasons.

"I would prefer to return home, but it is very difficult because City won't let me leave for nothing.

"I will stay in Europe for another two years and then go back.

"Boca's president always says the door is open for me to re-join them and I am dying to pull on their shirt once more. I want to end my career with them. It is my dream and the dream of my family as well.

"But I am under contract and have to be here in England."

    Chelsea Win 3-2

1-1 in the Tottenham game at half time, bar, post, goal line clearances in the second half. Then united get a late winner for 1-2 win on '87 mins

    2-1 Utd. RVP and a goal from a defender...Evans if he's playing.

3-1 Chelsea. Lampard (prob pen), Ba and...Terry.

    6-1 Arsenal.

    What? :)

Hopefully we'll get another mauling from Chelsea, including goals from Demba-ba, which will show Wenger what he's missing and force his hand in the transfer market.

I can't wait for the game to start! So much to look forward to! Which of our defenders will get sent off? Will he give away a needless penalty at the start or the end of the game? Who will score an own goal with his first clearance? Bring it on already!

I hope LeD doesn't seriously want his team to lose to prove a point.
