Registered 4 years agoCan't believe collocini. He should go when the job is done. We need him to stay up. Once we are safe then he has my blessing to leave, no probs. but right now we are in a serious fight and he wants to leave? C'mon!

Registered 4 years agoHis wife's moved back to Argentina apparently, that's why he wants to go. Not really a tragedy but I can understand him wanting to go. We're completely fucked if he does though. -

Registered 3 years agoYeah. Losing Ba and Coloccini in the same window would be harsh. I'm never a fan of keeping a player against their will though. Hopefully San Lorenzo can drum up some cash for him, or maybe one of the bigger Argentine clubs could come in for him. -

I think he has consistently been one of QPR's best players, always impressed by him. I think Hughes made a big mistake in not giving him more opportunities. When you have a team full of mercenaries you need a player like Mackie.
I like Mackie.

Based on his performances, he might still have a chance to United. -

Registered 8 years agoI think QPR would be much better without Taraabt in the side. He thinks he's better than he is, and he refuses to do anything simple, losing the ball every time he gets it.
Obviously he also provides some sort of threat from long range or free kicks (although those have been poor today), but I wonder if that actually tallies out over time.
Re Mackie : what I like about him is he's obviously not the most talented, but he's not afraid to take a man on, and then lose the ball and work hard to get it back. Total opposite from most of the Arsenal team who are afraid to lose the ball so much they would rather pass it back to Szcezney every five seconds. -

Registered 9 years ago@THFourteen You like that he's not afraid to take a man on and lose the ball, yet don't like Taarabt for essentially doing the same thing?
Just call Taarabt a dick, we all know it.

The trouble is that he is better than every other QPR player in terms of vision and skill. I fear part of the problem is that he's surrounded by chumps. I suspect he is being outplayed by a superior team in Spurs'. I'm not watching the match but I assume the Spurs midfield is dominating.

Not the case ATM, QPR scrapping for their life, outside of a double chance Spurs have created nothing.

QPR are going for another defensive 1-0 win, lacking quality, but are in no way being dominated, Bale/Lennon have hardly got a kick.
P.S.
This is subject to change in the 2nd half -

Heh, but its different. Mackie will immediately chase back and try and rectify his mistake. Taraabt stands there and does fuck all. Also Mackie doesn't always try and take his man on, he mixes and matches simple stuff in. Taraabt ALWAYS tries too much. Like that stupid stepover shit he did and lost the ball on the byline. Why?

Registered 10 years agoDon't like Tarrabt up front at all, but I can see the logic.
Usually he fannies about doing his fake Ronaldinho act in midfield so when he loses the ball and throws his toys out of the pram we are defending our own box.
At least when he loses it up front we have ten men behind the ball.
Always thought the front men set an example, throwing his hissy fits is a shit example for the rest of the team, if only Mackie was blessed with some of his skill. -

oh I'm aware. IMO, after JT and Suarez, Taarabt is my least liked player. He represents everything I hate in a team-sports player; utter selfishness.The-Bodybuilder wrote:
