David Villa to Arsenal on a permanent. Could be great if he still has it physically.

Chelsea get a lot of stick, too much stick. But I back our boys at the bridge to return Chelsea to the forefront of popularity. Yes, silky skills, wonderful values, and an owner who actually cares about the sport!

So he'll be out for their visit to the Emirates next Sunday then... that's a shame! :D

    Why look, it's a blog:

Reckon we're definitely interested and would love him to arrive but looks unlikely for this month. Barca don't want to sell plus his wife is due to give birth next month.

So that's Aguero, Yaya and Nasri out of the Emirates game then?

SOmeone told me Spurs odds-on at the bookies this morning for Schnejder. My Twitter feed hasn't mentioned it. Is it true?

Given that he's on 220'000. Week at Inter and has been unwilling to take a pay cut, I'd say it's not happening.

Not that you're missing much, he's been injured a lot for the past 18 months and looks a shadow of the player he did in 09/10.

Van Persie couldn't hit a barn door at the Euros, so take from that what you will.

    The guy's brilliant.

He's thrown himself into the roll of villain better than any player I can think of.

The fact that he genuinely believes he is the victim is the icing on the cake. The best villains work because they genuinely believe they are in the right.

    Brap, brap, old chap.

He is in zero position to decide how the players act. He isn't there. He isn't facing it.

But he has a point in the fact that we can't stop a game everytime someone yells 'monkey'

So there must be a better way to deal with this, which is down to blatter to sort out but he's not doing a good job so he's got a nerve critising the prince.

    I do hate Blatter.

Fair enough. Chelsea don't owe him anything. They can and probably will do better.
