I see Harry is using the press to conduct his transfer business as usual.

Videos of him talking openly about recruiting Joe Cole as long as it's not on the same wage structure as he has at Liverpool.

He riles me up more than any other manager in the history of the Premier League. I see he has already put the players at the front of the blame queue when/if QPR get relegated. Watch how quick that changes if he keeps them up.

When you can't see the angles on the wall you're in trouble.

Who would you put at the front of the blame queue then?

For me, its still got to be mark hughes for pissing all that money down the drain on absolute dross.

But Hughes was given that strategy of getting "better" players on shorter contracts (to ensure safety if they got relegated) by the owners.

Was he? I thought it was something they came up with together and fernandes, somewhat, had his pants taken down.

If he instigated it, then yeah, hes probably the root of it but if you say to a manager 'here is a big bag of money, go forth and buy skill and experience' you would kind of expect better results than that.

And Carlo to LA. Back to a sensible number of keepers again.

On that note, Lloris is quite brilliant. Huzzah.
    :)

Rumours are Gomes is off to Internationale and a certain LD is coming they other way...

There's probably blame on all sides from Hughes and his scouting team who selected the players, to Fernandes who sanctioned it.

I guess Harry's famous motivational skillz are not quite strong enough to overcome the mercenaryness (sic) of the playing staff. Somehow I doubt Joe Cole is the answer though.

The problem is attitude as opposed to ability imo. That team has the quality to have more than 10 points.

I think that's what Harry is trying to address with his comments as well, but it's poor psychology really. You can't male a cunt be less of a cunt by calling him a cunt.

As far as im concerned, QPR have got themselves into the mess their in by signing a bunch of players just like Joe Cole : a player who, at some point in their career, has shown great promise at one point, but has since fallen to much lower standards yet still somehow manages to demand VERY high wages :

    Anton Ferdinand
    Park Ji Sung
    Andrew Johnson
    Sean Wright-Phillips
    Djibril Cisse
    Jose Bosingwa
    Bobby Zamora

Its not very often QPR release the details or transfer fees when they sign someone (i wonder why?) but it doesnt take a genius to figure out that they probably spent close to £20 million in transer fees for that bunch and fuck knows what on wages.

Then you throw in players like Hoilett, Julio Cesar and Stephane Mbia. Easily QPR's three best players (technically) but they all picked QPR over bigger clubs for some reason.

If Bosingwa is on £65,000 a week, i can only assume those three are on close to £100,000 a week.

    Absolute shambles.

    @Ultrasoundwave

Also many of those players will have little to no resale value at the end of their contracts.

It's even worse than what happened at Leeds all those years ago. At least then the club was gambling on expensive younger talent to keep them in the CL for the foreseeable future.

Its is indeed amazing that anyone other than a conference team chose to sign SWP.

Park ji sung is a great little player. Hoillet is excellent as is M Bia. I don't buy this argument about lack of quality at all. Would love to see those three at Everton.

Yup, Newcastle have given permission for Ba to talk to Chelsea.

I'm guessing he'll be a stop-gap until the summer when they move for Falcao (and surely send Torres off the other way) and have Lukaku back in the squad. Getting rid of Sturridge and bringing Ba in with money to spare seems like good business.

Gutted he's going but not surprised at all. The only positive is that Cissť can go back to his preferred lone-striker position.

When everyone is fit again, Pards will hopefully go 4-3-3 again : Tiote - Cabaye - Anita in midfield and Marveaux - Cissť - Ben Arfa as the front three.

Hopefully that will get us back on track!

Decent signing if it goes through, hes not going to be the next Drogba or Van Persie but he is getting goals on a regular basis in the premier league and we are desperate for strikers. Cheap name to get on the back of the shirt as well :D

We still desperately need a striker when Ba goes. Remy is exactly what the team needs and Pardew really should pull out all the stops to get him in if at all possible.

I thought the same thing until i saw that a) Hes got one goal this season and b) apparently he's got some sort of heart problem.

If we keep taking punts on players with under-lying injury/health problems it will blow up in our faces at some point.

Think i'd rather us get Charlie Austin TBH.

Remy has been completely underwhelming every time I have seen him play in the CL and internationals. Which while not loads is about 8 times now. Without one decent game.

Remember, Gervinho looked alright, maybe even slightly dangerous on a 'in-form' day, in the French league.

And Chamakh. Actually do you want him for one Marveaux? Swapsies!
