Clear push I thought. Slight, but still made a difference.
Had the defender done that to the attacker, would it have been a pen?
If it was enough to stop him doing what he was going to, then yeah. That you don't see it much doesn't make it any less of a foul.

It was borderline. Southampton were a little unlucky I reckon.

Did Manchester Unitedtouch you in the shower as a small child?

You talk about them more than your own club.

    Hated, adored, never ignored.

I know right, they're not even a big club

It was a clear foul for the disallowed goal but the amount of times you'd get away with something like that means you'd have to say Southampton were a bit unlucky in that respect.

Just got home from our game. I really expected us to get thrashed today especially with Boruc playing but coming away it felt like we should have had all three.

Looking forward to seeing the disallowed goal tonight as that was right in front of us and it looked like the linesman at first flagged for offside then realised Lambert hadn't touched the ball and then signalled for a push.

Glad Gervinho came on, he's an interesting player to say the least. Also glad to see AOC get an ovation from the home fans when he went off. He scored some important goals for us and doesn't deserve abuse from the fans because of his dad.

What did his dad do, other than engineer his move?

The foul is slight and you'll feel aggrieved as Blotto says, but straight off it looked like a foul to me. Didn't see how the lino first flagged it, other than the sky replay, showing him indicating a foul.

Played well, we could and should have lost that given our performance.

Mainly he just went against the club and tried to undermine our negotiating position so that he could get his cut. Not really anything that would annoy anyone that wasn't a Saints fan. His history with Pompey never helped matters either.

I didn't hang around after the whistle but good to see on MotD day that Theo got a good reception as well.

Still feel a bit hard done by having seen the disallowed goal again but we are playing good stuff, so plenty of positives.

No-one else in the league could get away with having a message like that on their shirts.

And Carlo to LA. Back to a sensible number of keepers again.

On that note, Lloris is quite brilliant. Huzzah.

Wigan have taken young Man Utd striker Angelos Henriquez on loan

Van der Vaarts wife has left him after he hit her at a new years party

Thankfully you'll never get a story like that about one of the Arsenal players wives. I suppose there's at least some good to come out of not being able to hit the target.
