I quite like Di Santo, tidy player. But I don't think he's a prolific goalscorer. Could work with Suarez off him though I guess.

Rodgers would be better off going for Bendtner tbh (no joke).

Di Santo got full Argie call up recently too. Rodgers worked with him at Chelsea
Rodgers should bid £12m for him. That'd make it £36m on Borini, Sturridge and Di Santo.
Chuck in Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez and that's a £95m set of forwards. Which is about £30m more than Man Utd's 4 strikers cost.

Liverpool's bank manager must spend every day weeping.

Well Fergie did set us the target of being as good as Barca by oooooooooooh next season.

So I suppose the club is a "wannabe".

Fergie at his presser this morning:

Fergie on Pardew: "He is the worst for haranging referees. His whole staff, every game. He was at it the whole game on Wed." "He shoves a ref then makes a joke of it, then he's got the cheek to criticise me. It's unbelievable."

    Must not be drinking buddies

On interest payments mostly, until FSG took over.

He has a point on the shove. I like Pardew but he has no leg to stand on tbh

Funny you mention drinking buddies after Laudrup said him and Fergie shared a few after Swansea match
  • Deleted user 28 December 2012 11:03:11
Pardew may or may not have had a momentary lapse of control when he pushed that ref, but even if it was aggressive, it was a one off. Fergie has zero respect for the very concept of Officials. He just sees them as either an obstacle to him getting what he wants, or a tool that he can manipulate to further that agenda.

“It is unfortunate but I am the manager of the most famous club in the world. Not Newcastle, a wee club in the north east."

"I was demonstrative but I was not out of order. The press have had a field day. The only person they have not spoken to is Barack Obama because he is busy."

    :D

    He's on form!

Fergie is on fucking fire, trolling the the tits off everyone. I'm pretty sure this is his last season, and he's going out with a bang.

Can't wait for his comments when we play Chelsea should Benitez still be there.

No one remembers his response to Rafa calling Everton a small club then?

He's either senile or a massive hypocrite. Still sets the news agenda every week though. Suppose the lazy journalists are to blame for that.

How has he escaped an FA charge this week? Anyone know?

    only a few, mind.

Di Santo has more skill and a better attitude than Bendtner. Anyway I'm sure Bendtner will get another chance of being 1st choice forward next season at Arsenal, spending a year at a bigger club in Juventus will improve him.

I thought he'd been sold to Juventus.

I'm confused. Doesn't Di Santo score at all all season then?

Di Santo is a classic MOTD player - looks great in the highlights, but does fuck all the rest of the game.
