How was Aguero supposed to know it wasn't a pen?

    Jason McAteer iirc

in a bit of a dilemma.
I want Spurs season to spiral out of control, yet I want AVB to do well.

    Hmmmm

Fergie is basically directly responsible for our losses this season. As soon as we saw Giggs starting in a two man midfield, every Utd fan in the country knew what this game would be like. Why we had Giggs start ahead of Anderson and Cleverley I'll never know. If you looked at last season's results, Park Ji Sung started something like 11 games and we lost 9 of them. At the end of this season you'll see the exact same thing if you look at Giggs' games. The man's a legend, don't get me wrong, but he's not a centre midfielder, he's a winger that got too old to play on the wing. Meanwhile we have two actual proper midfield players, who have been playing well this season, and they're sitting on the bench because..?

ecureuil knows more about his club than Alex Ferguson.

Yeah, I resubscribed to Espn for the game yesterday. Talk about buyers remorse.

Enjoyed the arsenal game though. Wtf was ade thinking, they were winning.

Where has he suggested that? Criticising a manager for team selection is something you do with Pardew a lot. Do you know more about your club than Pardew?

The sun is shining and there's nothing like football to put a spring in your step on a Sunday!

Fookin monkey is better than Pardew. I won the champions league in football manager 1995 with Mascherano in the holding role.

What does pardew do when he gets the big man plus Tevez at West Ham...

    The rest is history.

I was expecting a bite off him, not you.

I'll put a winking smilie at the end of such a post next time :p

Heh, damn. Still pretty pissed off about yesterday's result, guess it's best to avoid it when I'm in this mood.

Suns out at the cottage. A win will make this a near perfect football weekend.

It was one of those goals where you knew it was going in from the moment he lined up the shot.

Berbatov is strolling around like a boss, just love watching him play. Pity his team are losing.

Berbatov rules. Arsenal should have bought him, idiots
  • Deleted user 18 November 2012 17:52:26
We should have as well. All that dicking around with Ade and we missed out on the better, cheaper player.

Realistically everyone missed a trick with Berba, not least Man U. Absolute class player. Could have done a role at Chelsea, Liverpool, maybe even City.

Yeah, its still debatable whether United even needed RVP what with having (but misusing) Berba.

Really wish we had him. A poor man's Ibra, but that's still better than 90% of all top strikers.
  • Deleted user 18 November 2012 18:03:25
    true enough
  • Deleted user 18 November 2012 18:04:40
Also, his style is far less dependent on age. Like Sheringham he'll be a fine wine

Although I don't want to be too down on Ade. He was trying really hard yesterday. Too hard...

Still haven't seen this lazy bad attitude Ade that everyone seems to want appear though. Frustrating yes, but no issue with his attitude.
