    Silly, silly tackle.

Shame for the game as it was looking great.

AVB is not going to be happy with Adebayor.

Not going well for Spurs, is it? I thought the yellow for Lennon was harsh.

Still, not complaining, could do with a morale boosting win.

Yeah the Lennon yellow was harsh, saying that Sandro is lucky not to have one yet

Adebayor has really ruined this for Spurs. They looked comfortable up until the sending off.

I missed most of the first half, Tottenham started the second well but Huddlestones deliveries from set pieces were such a waste

Risky switching things to two strikers away from home though.

Seriously though, players get sent off all the time and the team with 11 still struggle. Arsenal deserve a lot of credit, didn't hear barely and praise for them from Sky, just a lot of "Haven't Tottenham done well not being even worse today"

It was too early to make that sort of difference though: don't think it would be sane for Spurs to try and protect a 1-0 for 70 minutes.

Other than Adebayor's horrible tackle, I thought that was one of the most respectful games between Arsenal and Spurs since...I can't remember.

No nastiness, no play acting, no fucking about, no real needless aggression (a little something between Bale and Wilshere when Ade got sent off, and Dempsey having a handbags moment when he wouldn't shake Kos' hand but nothing major) no pathetic attitude from either manager or set of coaches at the end...it was nice to see.

Enjoyed the result, obviously, but enjoyed just as much the fact that it was a decent sporting contest. Huzzah.

And yeah, agree Blotto, it's not easy to unpick a 10 man team as it completely changes the dynamic. Thought both teams played very well, all things considered.

Had a feeling it would be another 5-2. Pity we couldn't make it 6 at the end, had a couple of great opportunities in the box.
