The Tuesday Club podcast - Alan Davies, the tramp beater's weekly rant. It's great, if you don't listen.

I was wondering, has he said anything about Hillsbrough since the inquiry findings were released?

Lol. Lots of piss-taking of him by the others but no, not really, not least as he is on tour at the moment and played Liverpool! Not that the inquiry findings have any bearing on any of that though IMO. He didn't say much that other fans haven't considered and it was hardly the all out attack that the papers made it out to be.

So why do you hate Newcastle?

Genuinely interested, I'm not bothered so don't worry about an overly defensive reply.

Kevin Keegan, Alan Shearer and every Newcastle fan I've known irl has been a twat. No real reason other than those, just really don't like them.

Loos like Mata had a magnificent game today. Outstanding player. Cazorla looked damn good too from what I saw of the Wham game.

Everyone has to have a team they hate for no real reason though, right?

Oscar looks so good. And he's only 20.

Definitely. Oscar looks great, as does Hazard. Chelsea will take some stopping this year.

Mata's ball for Hazard was pure, liquid sex. Although, I'm not sure about Shearer's Barcelona chat.

    Fair enough.

Shame he plays for Chelsea. I can't bring myself to like any of their players.

Oh good, Shearer's recycling Dixon's "three players makes a triangle" revelation. Idiot.

Yeah I can't really choose between my two. Actually at the moment I'd go with Chelsea, Liverpool you can at least laugh at.

Shearers analysis of Chelsea involved lines, squares, beems of light, triangles and a weird fin shape. It was a nonsense

They're both easy clubs to hate. Spurs is my other club.

Chelsea will get found out as soon as they play a proper team with a strong midfield.

Aye, our midfield is pretty strong (unles you mean just kickers, not quality) and we couldn't get near them for the first 20 mins last week. Mata, Hazard, Oscar all interchange so well.
