On the plus side, Hughes getting sacked will make people like you again :)

Shit slogans on t-shirts really should incur a 3 match ban.

Is the ref a shitting douche bag or are those bookings really warranted?

To be fair "Battenburg" takes the cake ;)

Has to be of the worst refs in the league

Some players are a liability on a yellow card. Diakite is one of those.

Great result for West Ham. Hopefully JJ will pick up a few bonus FPL points for me.

A bit more passion in the second half and finally a bit of creativity with Adel on the pitch, but still terrible. I knew the second Diakite made that first challange that he was in one of those moods and he wouldn't last too long.

Looks like Chris Foys poor timekeeping has got him kicked down to league 2 this weekend. He is doing Accrington Stanley vs Rochdale.

Penalty decisions were a lot worse than the timekeeping

You have lost one game at home this season. One. You weren't good enough to win it. The referee played no part in that.

I'm sure you won't lose at home again for another year.

That right there is the power of Fergie, and why he has these moans. You can guarantee next time Foy referees a Man U game he'll be giving them the benefit of doubt on every single borderline decision (as will every other ref if they know what's good for them).

It really isn't cool. Yes he could have given a couple of pens but it was no worse a referring than you see in every other game. The time thing was a non-issue.

Genuinely a bit of a disgrace.

Fergie has absolutely nothing to do with it. Hilarious that you think he does though, the conspiracy theories are a constant source of entertainment throughout the season. Love that Spurs can beat us at OT and they're still the ones that come off paranoid and bitter about the whole thing. Brilliant stuff.

First thing I've said about the game on here, all I said was the penalty decisions were far more of an issue than timekeeping. Calm down.

People give out about our fans being touchy

It's unfortunate the only pople to comment so far are Spurs fans, but I suspect it's a coincidence. Would be very surprised if the wider community didn't also recognise this for what it blatantly is.

    Pretty much.

Fergie knows how to play the game, this is small time for him.
  • Deleted user 2 October 2012 17:33:36
I missed the highlights of the game tbh. I was arseholed by the time I got home so fell asleep instead of catching up.

Man United have been terrible though so far, and Spurs have looked okay despite not getting results.

Spurs have won three on the bounce (which is half their games) and are unbeaten since the opening day.

I swear the media have somehow managed to do some kind of Jedi mind trick to convince everyone that Spurs are doing badly just to further their anti-AVB agenda.

Pretty much. At the same time though, you can't blame him for playing it like this. The Refs body and the press should grow some balls and not rollover.
  • Deleted user 2 October 2012 17:57:38
Oh totally. It's negative reinforcement. You can't blame Fergie for doing it if it works.
