Surely they can hold on from here against 9 men..

Bound to be at least 5 mins of stoppage time though.

So are people saying Conte is having players sold that he wants to keep? Really??
Well he clearly said he didn't want Matic sold. Emanalo is in charge of transfers.
He didn't say he was sold without his green light. He implied he had to sacrifice him because of the 'crazy transfer market'.

I.E. if he wants to sign an 80m striker to replace the better striker he already had, he had to sell players like Matic. Again, boo fucking hoo.

@DreadedWalrus looking forward to sharing a season ticket at the John Smiths Stadium with the brother-in-law this year based on this opening performance :)

Congrats to Burnley. A guy I work with, who supports them, thought they were fucked because they've been selling.

The Costa thing is weird though. He is clearly one of the best strikers in Europe but he must be a nightmare to deal with as they dont want him and are struggling to sell him. In todays market 50m would be a bargain for him.

It's not weird he's clearly always been a cunt

@monkehhh I call them my "second team", and they are in terms of how I care more about West Brom, but my family points out quite rightly that I've gone and seen Huddersfield play at least a couple of dozen times over the course of my life (and three times last season. Was going to go to Wembley with the rest of the family for the playoff final, but something came up so I had to stay home...), and they keep trying to convince me to switch to Huddersfield as my main team!

    Pot kettle etc.

Anyway, who cares. Spurs next at Wembley, three points basically in the bag ;)

I find it hard to believe someone could be THAT much of a cunt and not inherently be a cunt

Maybe he puts on a false face or something to fool people.

I was very clearly being just plain vanilla aggressive. No passive about it.

And yeah, worst result from our point of view, although having Cahill and Fabregas out is nice if the bans hold. Which they probably won't.

Being a rival fan I can say go fuck yourselves Burnley and I hope they crash and burn this season the stupid Dingle cunts.

Good result today though I'll give em that.

Ref was a bit pony, but can't really see them being rescinded. Not sure who Kante will be playing next to with Matic and Chalobah sold, and Bakayoko injured.

    Maybe baker? Candlestick maker?

    It's hard being so threadbare.

    @OtterofJustice

Hate to bolster a rival, but Sissoko is yours for 60m.

If that's a yellow then all handballs need to be yellow.

If it's not intentional it's not a handball. If he's deemed to have tried to score with his hand, it's a yellow. Ref had difficult choice of letting a handball goal stand or give an insanely harsh booking. He chose the less contraversal option quite sensibly.

We had a ball to hand penalty given against us last week and literally no one on the commentary team could really call it one way or the other. It's the most stupidly fuzzy area.

Spurs with a bid rejected for Martial, I would be fuming if Jose even considered letting him go.
