Tell you what else annoyed me when I was watching Match of the Day - The Sunderland love in.

I get that they've turned out some surprising results but the effusive praise for Poyet and Sunderland for the last few games totally ignores that they have been utter, utter bobbins all season. Due to a strong finish, people seem to be forgetting that.
Kind of reminds you of Di Canio last season. Poyet will be gone before Christmas

I'm not so sure with Poyet he goes through great periods then extreme lows then rises again. Seems to have something about him.

He'll end up pissing off everyone and getting the sack like Brighton.

Heh if that's directed at me then you're way off darling.

I do love your doting over Totteningham though, this thread can never have enough Totteningham talk in it.

    Totteringham play nice kickball

Maybe there in for an interesting summer can't seem them spending heavily. The owners seem to have tightened the purse strings. May have to sell to buy.

What this thread needs is a game of football to start.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

Thinking Liverpool come out firing tonight can't see Palace keeping Suarez and Sturridge quiet. 3-0 Liverpool.

Just had a read back through this thread. Who was that guy? Everytime I try to defend Liverpool on here, one of our fans show up

The level of bullshit regarding Our Stevie this season has been nauseating.
    This
I have no issue with LFC winning the Prem, don't think they will mind you BUT I have a big problem with "our" Stevie. I said it before but why is it all about him, he deserves this, he deserves that etc he is a very, very well paid sportsman (thug ?) nothing more nothing less.
Maybe he's done more than just playing? The guy clearly does a better job of raising his team than many other captains. Prefer Toure though. Seems to raise City without the hype associated with Gerard.

Hoping for a Liverpool win tonight. I'm also hoping City win all their remaining games.

I want THAT slip to be the reason Stevie ME ME ME ME doesn't ever win a league.

    Hated, adored, never ignored.

Another Gerrard slip, with the ball going into his own goal off his face.

Difficult to see City dropping any points stranger things have happened but just feel the Everton game was the big test that they overcome. Fully expect Liverpool to win tonight but ultimately lose the title on goal difference which would be a bitter pill for Rodgers to swallow after coming so close.

It's amazed me how it's only taken one poor season for United fans in this thread to thoroughly show themselves up. I'd expect this level of bitterness after half a decade or so, but I guess it's the old story of Uncle Alex having spoiled them rotten and now they're throwing crayons at the back of mum and dad's head on the drive home. :)

So what's the betting on Gerrard's Hollywood DIY antics tonight? I reckon, first shot in frustration by the 23rd min and a total of 8 with the game finishing 0-0.

Regarding the Gerrard love in, Weimann completely dominated him for the first half of the Villa match, I think it unlikely that toure has been dominated by anyone this season.
    He was once, by Matic.
