Yeah, great touch to take him away from the defender.

Macheda didn't even play enough games to get a winners medal that season, but seeing as he won United 4 points that season and Liverpool were only 4 points behind with superior goal difference my sympathy is limited.
He did get a medal though. The whole 'minimum games' thing is a bit of a fallacy to be honest. The club can apply for as many medals as they want for any player they feel made a significant contribution. Larrsson got one for his loan spell in 06/07 and Smith did as well despite being injured nearly all season.

Fuck yes - I did not buy a surround sound system for that shit.

Not that I condone our gloating in anyway, but this song is getting a good airing tonight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_O3Zw4qjNM8

Seems a bit petty after 11 years of telling everyone what a great manager he is.

I seem to recall Alex Manninger got one for Arsenal once when Seaman was injured for a stretch of about 8 games, all of which Arsenal won and he kept clean sheets in pretty much all of them.

This game is a bit disjointed and shit. Webrum need to re lay their pitch badly, bobbly as fuck. Atmosphere is weird and flat and both teams look a bit half arsed. It's like an end of season game between two mid table teams :|

We were awful. Really awful. So no complaints about the result. Was fair. Slightly disconcerting is that we really haven't looked good since the Arsenal game. Just grounded results out. Now with these injuries we are going to have a really hard time keeping up with the pack

How bad did the Coleman thing look?

Hamstring, so days to months, if it's serious.

Almost certainly out of the derby sadly. Badly need someone in to compete with Lukaku - for all the Everloan shouts most overlook that he's probably been our worst player for 2 months.

Suppose that's a good result for us in the race for the 4th place cup...

    Come and get it cumslingers!

Aye. He's been pretty poor for a while now. What is it with us sucking the life out of strikers?

A draw away at West Brom isn't a terrible result.

Mata to united being run by the telegraph tomorrow. Don't believe it for a second and although he would undoubtedly strengthen us in not sure his position is really the one we're struggling for players in.

Although he could float in and out from the left but cm is more pressing. Would have to spell the end for shinji too I guess.

That's simply too good not to be bull. If that happens I'll get laid this year.

Yeah I'd be over the moon if Chelsea let us take Mata, absolutely the type of player we need.

Maybe they see you as another Everton who can take some points of their rivals with one of their spare stars.

If we got Mata and helped Chelsea win the league by taking points off their rivals I'd be doubly happy as City wouldn't have won it :)
