    Alex McLeish to return.

Redknapp must be twitching to get back.

If Tan had kept all this behind closed doors I'm pretty sure we wouldn't see all these protests and hoo har in the media.

Well, Cardiff spent big in the summer and they're struggling. Traditionally, that means you're under pressure. I'm not sure why the media have got all het up about this.

Actually, I think I do: it's all a bit "Boo, foreign owners", isn't it? If they were going to make a big hoo-ha about Tan they should've done it last season when he was changing the club's colours.

@Tom_Servo Exactly and what I've been saying for a while. The colour thing is a bit clouded though as promenient supporters were playing down the colour thing because of Sam Hamaman and now he's been paid off everyone is up in arms about the colour hmmmm!

@TheHammerite We've got a good record at the bridge in recent seasons, even without Suarez

Damn that sorcerer! Twenty gold pieces and I’m wankered on Rohypnol.

All the background at Cadiff with the owner and the kits etc will certainly paint Mackay in a better light, which he should be grateful for following a shit run and some poor results.

He'll walk into any mid tier Premier League side now but will eventually get found out.

"There's nothing like getting sacked by a mad foreigner to boost a Proper Football Man's managerial reputation with the Old Boys' Club."

From Twitter. Sums it up very nicely.

You could argue though that Malky ability to do his job as been affected by off the field problems.

Which i think it has. The colours and rebranding of the club passed without incident although at the time there was anger , abeit softened with a promotion and new stadium, but i think Tan is a complete knob. To sack staff and replace them with people with no experience, to call the manager out on over spending when the tan is the guy who sanctions them and writes the cheques is absurd as well. It's clear there relationship is in tatters and Tans own decisions as affected the way malky can conduct his ability to do his job.

Its clear Tan doesn't want him there, and has made a bit of a hash of doing the simple thing and sacking him.

Problem for tan is, anyone in there right mind won't want to go there.

@joelstinton More related to the crap he's bought than an overspend.

You can't deny that things have been difficult for him but at the end of the day he picks the side and tactics which have been awful for a while.  Like i said if Tan had kept this behind closed doors then we wouldn't have all this hoo har.

Tan has to go but that is a different issue.

I'd also say £30m is peanuts in the PL these days. Everyone's getting twice that from Sky alone. It's a relatively conservative spend that certainly isn't enough to make a Championship side properly competitive in the PL.

Swansea, Norwich and a number of other sides coped with far less than 30 million. The problem was that he spread the moeny to few players and gambled on a few which didn't pay off which is something we don't have the luxury of.

Swansea and Norwich both came into the PL before the Sky money rocketed. Relatively speaking I don't think Cardiff have spent that much.

I'd agree he's bought a couple of duds but I don't think he can really be criticised for how much he's spent. The new money this season has skewed everything financially.

@kalel Hull haven't  spent that much but they spent it wisely and have a manager who knows the league which was unfortunatley Malkys downfal.

I'm sure Cornelius would do well if only he got some play time.. (and that's coming from a Brøndby fan, Cornelius came from our rivals FC Copenhagen)

With Mackay leaving, Wenger has now been in place longer than the other 19 Premier League managers combined.

Hull also have a similarly wankerish foreigner, but after being sacked from or quitting a number of clubs, he seems to have developed a better way of dealing with them.

Shit like this was obviously going to have ripples through the entire set up.

    Tan is a fucking idiot.

The whole setup is fucked and I pray that he sorts it out from top to bottom. Rumblings of Ole coming are welcome though :D.

Cornelius is a bit of an unfair stick to beat him with. The guy is 20, there's nothing in the rulebook saying a new signing has to be playing straight away.

@Shikasama I agree but spending 8 million on him was a bit of joke.

Again, £8m is absolutely nothing for a striker, especially not a young one making a name for himself at international level.
