I thought Lukaku showed today why Mourhino was right to send him out on loan. He was non-existent and in Kos pocket the whole game. When he did get the ball. He was terrible at holding it up, with his passing also being fairly weak. Not to mention he didn't take that golden chance when he had it. Compare him with Giroud at the other end and he is not in the same league.

Was giroud good today? Another blank on fantasy football is making want to offload him but if the generally feeling is he is playing well then I will keep him for Xmas period?

Coupled with Bendtner scoring midweek. The end of days is nigh!

    No way.

Chance wasn't that golden and his runs were amazing but the passes never happened. His passing was no worse than others.

Mourinho kneejerk reaction to the penalty miss.

@Youthist I don't know how fantasy football works to be honest but he works his socks off, keeps the ball well and brings others into the play. He is extremely consistent game to game as well. He will grab a good number of assists and goals over the season if that helps?

Yet Lukaku has scored more this season than Giroud.

Try not to be so blatant with your bias next time.

Extremely consistent. He's scored in only two of his last 10 league games.

Combine goals + assists though, and I'm pretty sure Giroud would be higher.

Doesn't Chamakh have two in two as well?! The end is truly nigh.

    Giroud: 1223 mins, 7 goals, 4 assists.

    Lukaku: 938 mins, 8 goals, 3 assists.

Let's keep going on this comparison.

Meh, Lukaku had a quiet game today, so did Giroud, but the latter came closest to scoring. It happens.

I think I'm going to punt him for Remy or Lukaku.

Puts Spurs' result against Everton away into perspective. Hopefully be toe to toe with Liverpool this time next week.

Tbh I've had him from the start of the season, and am wondering the same. He is playing well but still not finding the net on a Suarez level.

Remy would be a good bet IMO.

Or if you check Everton's next 7 league games you may feel Lukaku is worth a punt (though obviously bear in mind he's not in the same league).

I have Lukaku and Giroud up front, I'm not setting the FFL alight this year...

@Dougs Well you know, perhaps one of these fixtures will turn out to be easier than Everton, who I have to say were fantastic and would not have been undeserved winners.

So confirmed by Moyes. Tho my doctor friends tell me that's bullshit. Wouldn't happen.

Serie A is not what it once was. Have you notice how most of the players who come to the Premier League from Italy struggle? Gaston Ramirez, Lamela, Borini, Aquilani and other I can't think of. Coutinho has somewhat bucked that particular trend.
That's always been the case tbf. With a very few exceptions like Zola, Italians rarely settle well in England.

Andrea Silensi. Man I was excited for Forest, aged 12 or whatever.

    Damn him.

Amazing what highlights can do. This is looking like Everton were barely in it.

Had the same with the Utd game.  You get used to it outside of the top clubs. :)

Tho to be fair Arsenal had more better chances. Can't really show all our possession and passing in highlights.

MotD is an extremely "unreliable narrator" when it comes to higlights, especially ones you're not supposed to be able to see on TV in the UK.

It's the nature of highlights, I wasn't implying there was some conspiracy at the BBC. It's not like you show someone dominating the possession, really.

There's games I've been to, saw the highlights in the evening and it's looked like a different match.

Love watching the entire Chelsea back line back off for that Lallana goal.
