The only logical explanation is that Spurs poor performance is due to the poor support of the fans.

First full spurs game that I think I've watched this season. Thought they were very solid away from home TBH.

They look like an Arsenal team, lots of sideways passing and possession.

Surprised more hasn't been made of AVB allowing Lloris to continue after that horrible clash. Apparently Lloris lost consciousness and has no recollection of the event.

Well done Cardiff. Nicked it and destroyed the game as best they could. Stoke eat your heart out.

Campbell didn't have to go down like a big wuss.

    Such boring games today.

Game was a microcosm of Wales: boring, wet and shit.

Well guess you were never going to compete against Swansea's passing game, so fair enough, whatever gets you results. As a Toffee I have known exactly what that's about. :)

Man City have made Angel Rangel their number one target in January to replace Joe Hart.

Can't blame a striker if no-one actually gives him a shooting chance.

None of the forwards played well, tbf.

    From The Guardian:

But for all their dominance, and in the early exchanges it was absolute, the visitors did not provide Soldado with the support or numbers to stretch Tim Howard in the Everton goal. Spurs' superiority yielded only three shots from distance in the first half, with Howard equal to the efforts from Sandro, a Kyle Walker free-kick and a daisy-cutter from Lewis Holtby. Still, it was three more saves than Lloris had to make.

Soldado needs his team mates to work harder to draw penalties for him to take.

Crap game but thought we controlled most of the 2nd half with the Jacks hardly doing anything which was a suprise. Getting a bit fed up of being so defensive but I guess you have to do what it takes to survive. :D

Don't mind those kind of tactics in a hard away game. An extra DM instead of a second striker makes sense. Just don't know why he doesn't against Hull at home. Still, an ok result today.

Poor game from both sides. Spurs had the perfect high pressing gameplan to pin us back in the first half but mysteriously dropped it for the second half - not sure why Sandro went off as he was breaking up everything. We woke up a little toward the end at least, but our passing was off all game. Highlighted the attacking limitations of both squads more than anything.

If Spurs had bought Negredo, they'd be awesome. Or Arsenal, considering Soldado cost as much and Wenger was prepared to lay down more on Suarez.

Saw Negredo earlier at Stoke, great player IMO.

This is the problem. I have no issue with the tactics today. Everton away is always one of the toughest games of the season.

Slightly different tactics required at home though.

Anyway, I dont see how anyone can have a go at soldado today. No service whatsoever. Same could be said for lukaku to be fair.

I don't think Spurs should be punished for it, but it certainly warrants some comment from the Premier League/FA. They're very lucky there wasn't any further physical contact in the game with him. Ridiculous booking for Lukaku on it too btw.

Just to make it clear, my attempts are clearly for troll sake.

South Wales is often sunny, actually. It's raining at the moment though.
