You're still banging this drum yet your team only has one more young player than Moyes's, you utter nincompoop.

As much as I liked Moyes and really wanted him to do well, the subs yesterday are absolutely mind blowing.

After this no British manager is going to be given a chance at a top club again.

Seven games isn't being given a chance. Utd have got two give him two or three seasons.

You have to wonder if they will draw the line, Yeah it took fergie longer to win stuff when he started, but when he started united weren't accustomed to such success. This club can't comprehend mediocre results. It looks bad for Moyes because he's never got a club any beyond that.

Well, the party was over whoever they put in charge. Chopping and changing managers will exacerbate the situation.

Southampton will never get into Europe if they can't beat the shit teams. Harsh but true.

    Pochettino out.

I'm hoping they give Moyes time, the board and fans of the club have to see that changing managers every few months damages the club more than anything else.

I'd prefer to have Moyes and have a few transition seasons, for him to build his own team, rather than six more managers in that time.

You give Moyes a few seasons to build his own team, and he'll turn Man Utd into Everton Mk II.

Could someone shut EuroStalker the next Fergie the hell up please?

Well all good things come to an end.
Time for them to get accustomed to mediocrity. It will make the return all the more sweeter (if it ever arrives).

So, we just sack him then and hire someone that's going to be manager for six months?

Recall being mocked here for saying 18m is a fair price for Fellaini. 28m though.. Fair play Everton.

I think that's more due to market value, more than what a player is "worth". 2xm seemed pretty fair given the overall market.

None of those players, bar Rooney, look like they are worth their transfer fee. Its not fellainis fault that he joined on a downswing.

The simple fact is Fellaini was bought for 15mil and was a top performer for a few seasons. How he could be sold for 18mil I don't know.

He sold for current market value, yet equally was never what United needed.

It's also a little early to write him off imo.

Moyes needs to create his own team, sign the players he wants. His first dealings in the transfer market was a shambles but he still has a squad that should do the job to a certain level but his last minute scramble for players made Man U look bad. You could say Moyes is giving the squad a chance but he knew full well what they needed but couldn't push it through in the transfer window.

Januzaj looks promising and he is actually playing him. Rooney is in world cup mode, I would sell him if he has a blinder at the World Cup. I think Moyes will be more ruthless than Ferguson, some players need moved on to make room for his signings and youth players stepping up. The team will be drastically different next season. He just needs to do well enough for top 4.

An interesting Spurs team for Villa away:

Lloris, Walker, Chiriches, Dawson, Vertonghen, Paulinho, Sandro, Townsend, Holtby, Sigurdsson, Soldado.

Is Eriksen out? He'd be the first name ob the team sheet if I were a rugged young Portuguese stallion.

Not a bad idea to ring some changes after the West ham defeat, keep players on their toes.

Well, I can fully predict we will end up with Lowton in central defence after Baker goes off with a head injury before the tenth minute. If anyone is feeling flush they should definitely put some money on it :D

You are a factory of sadness.

By the by, earlier this season when I was watching Newcastle games I said that they were awful and would be looking at relegation. Easily the worst football in the league.

Watched most of the Liverpool game yesterday and thought they looked really good. Getting a man back by taking Cisse off the pitch really helped and they were like....passing the ball to each other and shit.

Doesn't feel urgent in the slightest does it?
Weird atmosphere, no one seems arsed.

Edit: Mess of a goal. Brighten things up hopefully.
