Except when they played each other this season, and on the points table.
The comment was a supposed to be a slightly pisstakeyforfunlike comment on the preceding comments about Spurs and Arsenal's squad.

    Oh well.

Good strong hands Joe. And a great offside trap from City.

However any manager can justify sending out a player on loan who scored more goals than any other striker they had in the league last year, and only sign a 32 year old who's been playing in Russia for 2 years is beyond me. Absolutely bizarre.

    BT Sport commentating.....gah!

'Mark. MARK. OOh Mark, is that a yellow card Mark. Is it. Is it?!'

'No, not for me. Not much contact there at all'.

'Ooh. Oooooo. Thanks Mark. Michael, Mark's right there isn't he. That wasn't a yellow was it?

'No. Not for me. I think...'

'Sorry to interrupt you Michael, but a player has just gone down in the penalty area. Mark. MARK! Was that a penalty'

    Shut. The. Fuck. Up.

Did look like Howard could have done better, too distracted by Negredo.

Should that be a red for Milner? Didn't see it properly.

My first reaction was red, but then the Everton player's weren't really challenging that much so I assume not.

Could be that they didn't see much point challenging it though, as the ref is absolutely fucking terrible. I've not seen such a poor refereeing performance outside of the Champions League/Europa League.

I really hate the ref watch thing on bt sport. The whole thing seems setup just to constantly criticise the ref over and over again, with the benefit of zero pressure and several camera views

The ref looks fat too. Thought they did fitness training these days.

Kolorov was fairly deliberately obstructing him,  always going to get a push if you're showing no intent to play a bouncing ball.

Much less of a peno than the push on Lukaku in the first half

Lukaku just gave the ball away which is apparently evidence enough for Chris Waddle that he isn't good enough for Chelsea.

Maybe in an ideal world he wouldn't be but when his competition is Torres and a 32 year-old Eto'o it's hard to see how he wouldn't be good enough for them right now.

i'll be disappointed if City ended up winning the league this season, out of all the possible interesting ways it could play out, that would be the most depressing outcome of a United downfall.

Well we were poor second half, but always disappointing to lose a game where the most influential person on the pitch is the referee.
