Spurs have 2nd highest PL points total this calendar year, apparently.

There are several players who you can pick to play every game, if they are fit.

Hazard, for example, started every game until I got rid of him, netting me a mighty 2 points per game.

Yeah I had Yaya and kept Fellaini after his United move. Also see above comments about Hazard.

My initial team pick was pretty wank to be honest so I've spent far more points than I should have on transfers.

Yaya appears to be an ever present, which is stupid because even he needs a rest every now and then. Aguero is a good bet to play too. As for the rest, who knows? I haven't got a single City or Utd player in my fantasy team (had Zabaleta for a while but they were shipping goals).
Oscar might actually be a good bet because Mourinho seems to think the sun shines out of his bottom, Hazard is getting a lot of game time, and Fat Lamps is getting a frankly astonishing number of minutes.
Personally I've packed my team with Spurs and Arsenal players because I know they'll play, and Everton players because I can't not have Lukaku and Baines in my team, and Barkley is cheap and gets minutes.

I had lampard and hazard in my starting team, both racking up fuck all points in far too many games.

Im seriously considering playing my wildcard as the amount of dead wood im carrying is astonishing.

My team selection was proper hamstrung by having the 14 million Van Persie at the start. Got rid of him (his injury helped) and bought a better midfield.

    God bless you Ramsay

Anybody else think Man Utd midfielder Anderson is out of shape, or that he has a fat face?  Surprised to see him get a game over Fellaini.

He has been taking fat-face lessons from Nasri.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise half of them are stupider than that

So is Liverpool's 3-4-1-2 a good idea, or is it going to come horrendously unstuck against better teams?

I remember someone said Anderson is great to have around rather than praising him on his football ability. Not surprising if he has lasted this long, must be a charmer and has such low wages, ah might as well keep him, isn't he fun, like some homeless puppy a family brings in. Look at his chubby little face and that smile. Awww.

Moyes should be giving everyone a run out before deciding who to put on the chopping block. Long time coming for some of them. Time to be ruthless.

I played my wildcard for this week and don't regret it at all. My first team was howling.

I need Everton to dick Newcastle tonight. A Lukkaku hat-trick assisted by Barkley would be ideal.

If you twist the numbers by excluding the entire Premier League plus sixteen championship sides, then I think you'll find that it's Blackpool at the top of that table.

    Game, set and match.

Mourinho walked out of his press conference today before the end as he was unhappy with some of the questions. That'll be why he didn't get the Utd job then. He doesn't have the class to manage them. He's perfectly suited to Chelsea.

I think it suits the team as it stands without Agger, Coutinho and Johnson. You could argue that replacing Enrique with Cissohko and Henderson for Johnson, and then Moses in the 1 for Coutinho, makes a hell of a better side.

It also means that we play a proper old fashioned two striker system, which is lovely to see when it works as well as it did yesterday.

    EDIT, Double post.

Fergie would just refuse to talk to the press in the first place.

I want Coutinho back in the mix, great understanding with Sturridge. I'd rather have him up as a solo, flanked by him and Suarez. Essentially how we were at the start of the season but replacing Aspas.

    4-3-3 wasn't it?

Indeed. Ferguson refused to talk to the BBC for ages, for example. It's nonsense to say that Mourinho is more chippy than he was.
