Could have been red. Was effectively a one on one.

I like that teams are dropping points and no one looks certain to run away with it this year. Lowest points score to win the premiership was 75, wonder what the odds on this years winner scoring less are...

    Where's Will.I.An?

When you can't see the angles on the wall you're in trouble.

Looking forward to Jose's no doubt very gracious comments after.

No doubt "the best team lost" as usual. It's going to end in tears at Chelsea.

Pity the window has already SLAMMED SHUT.

As predicted. Same old Jose. Chelsea haven't bought the striker they needed. Should have spent less time spending money on players they didn't need to deprive others, and more time and money on proper strikers who aren't looking for a final pay day before retiring.

Chelsea are weird when it comes to strikers. They persist with one who isn't up to it (Torres), they don't even utilise Ba as a sub (okay, he's not a top level striker but he's a better option than Torres), they loan out a player who's absolutely proved himself as a very good young Premier League striker (Lukaku - who with the superior service Chelsea can provide him over West Brom would surely have scored as many if not more had he been their main striker this season), and they've taken on a risk by putting a lot of faith in Eto'o providing the goods.

I just don't get why they don't pay the big bucks on the likes of Falcao, Hulk, Cavani etc. They're in that elite bracket of clubs who can afford and attract those names. Instead they spend millions and millions on small foreign attacking midfielders/wide forwards etc, instead of a world class striker. They need another Drogba.
