    Wagner in btw.
Gratz on today...all of a sudden all is not too bad after a couple of good away wins.

Hoping for a win on matchday, and not a defeat in order to kickstart transfer activity, is expected of football fans*.

Hey no offence taken, funnily enough, I am not like my Internet persona in real life, to me, having a few mates to have beers with before/during/after a game is more important than the game itself thesedays. It's fun to rant on the Internet, but in reality I could have as much fun on a day out if I was a Coventry or palace fan... It's all about the jazz man ;-)

Thank God for that, my stress levels raise massively at the end. Great save by Mignolet near the end.

    Yesss.
6 points from 6. Can't argue with that. Villa had their chances to equalize but a fine save from Mignolet and some good defending saw us through. Roll on the Utd game next Sunday.

I agree. MOTD wont be worth watching tonight. Unless you got insomnia that is.
I like the way they left the Newcastle v West Ham game last in the showing order. They know it would send people to sleep.

    @roz123

We've been saying the same thing. Fulham Arsenal should be top billing which shows how crap the other games were.

    Ful/Ars is top billing.
    The MOTD running order: Ful/Ars, Sto/CP, AV/Liv, Hull/Nor, Sou/Sun, Eve/WBA, New/WHU.

edit: just read you were talking about the GOTD and not MOTD. My bad.

Some more news, and it isn't good for Arsenal fans:

If this summer is anything to go by, we'll probably end up making a public offer of around 6m.

Talk about "Groundhog Day" this is a continuation of the abysmal fare that was served up last season. The Cabaye situation is an absolute joke with Pardew making statements like "No increased bids for Cabaye" and "We don't have to sell Cabaye to buy players."

Why not say "Hurry up and increase your offer for Cabaye Arsenal" so we can buy a mediocre replacement. Cabaye is unwilling to play for Newcastle and wants to move to PSG (Pilgrim Street Greggs) or Arsenal.

Our current squad are clueless even Ben Arfa looks like an inexperienced schoolboy with potential. I can't see anybody with an ounce of ambition wanting to join a football club who's goal is to be profitable rather than successful. Even the half decent Academy players are leaving for pastures new as the future is so bleak at Newcastle.

Mancini, to clarify, is someone I admired at City. Yet it is tempting to wonder whether the power went to his head. He ordered that a disabled lavatory was knocked down and turned into his own personal bidet. One of his entourage would no joke take a hairdryer to Mancini's sweater and jacket to make sure they were the perfect temperature for when he came in off the training ground. The same guy would drive in second gear behind Mancini as the manager set off through the country lanes on the bike ride home to Alderley Edge. When Mancini grew tired, he would put his bike in the car and get a lift the rest of the way.
Reminds me a bit of Mr. Burns.
