I think it was more of an "appease the fans" move. Nobody took to Roy at all. I found it quite sad, not even given a chance.

Roy was brought in to see them through extremely difficult financial times. As soon as the rich Americans came in, he became irrelevant.

The irony is, they would have welcomed him with open arms after KKK.

Graham Hunter said Real haven't submitted a written offer for Bale.

    Hated, adored, never ignored.

It wasn't a car crash was it, I thought it was appendicitis?

Fish fingers and chips pretty straight forward.

He could have crashed the car on the way to the hospital to get his appendix removed, due to his appendicitis.

    Worst game of Cluedo ever

This is what I don't like about celebrity deaths these days, all becomes a race for information that we somehow believe we are entitled to.

Not saying I don't take part in it, there's just been a couple of incidences in recent times and the reaction (including my own) has made me wince a bit.

Really do think it would be madness if spurs don't accept a 60m+ offer for Bale, not to say he isn't a great player but pretty much every team from United, City and Chelsea down has been let down by their squad depth on the past few years rather than being able to but out a strong first 11.

That isn't to say it would be easy to keep a big squad happy, especially with no CL football but I reckon it's the only way teams from 7th to 4th are going to progress.

I want Levy to ruin him. Play him with the B team until his contract runs out and he turns out bloated and lacking in any hope for his future. If you can't take a joke, don't sign a fucking contract. :)

Come on guys, let's not interrupt this thriving conversation about Simon Moore with more talk of Bale.

    Heh. :p

Not wanting to cause trouble, FANS "I don't want to talk about spurs/arsenal" usually translates to "I WANT YOU ALL TO TALK ABOUT NEWCASTLE".

It's funny, when Newcastle were the topic of conversation for many pages (last time being the return of JFK), I don't remember him moaning about talking too much about newcastle.

    Go figure.

    Warning DM link

A few select wankers do it here all the time, but I find this particularly bizarre. Plastics, thousands of miles away doing it. Really weird. Plus that "corners of Europe to Mersey" flag. Bizarre.

Ach, it's just a misguided attempt to be seen to be a bigger part of the club than they are. That's not to denigrate overseas fans etc, some go to great lengths to follow their team, but this is just playing to the gallery (of the more idiotic LFC fanbase) imo

There isn't enough Chelsea talk in here :p

Things I have learnt from the preseason tour: Lukaku and De Bruyne both look 10x better then they did on last seasons tour, Van Ginkel is a smart player, John Terry is doing the coaching badges, Essien will play a big part next season and Wallace will be an exciting player when he gets a work permit. Only disappointment really was Schurrle who failed to impress me.

Yeah I get that, but there's nothing there that really makes. Just made me laugh to be honest. it's utterly retarded.
