Aha, they'll just be seen as the surprise package generally, is what I mean. Obviously *I* won't be surprised if they go great guns.

Yes you are right - it's Brighton, Millwall, Charlton.

But now for at least one season they are too far beneath me and I now look for an EPL rival that we'll battle with all season long for positioning in the league.

    I choose Arsenal.

Spain is going to declare bankruptcy and Barcelona are going to absorb them.

A shrewd pick. I thought he might go at the end of last season, but no. I think they could be doing a bit better than they are, and new owners often like their own man in charge...

Because Arsenal, like Palace, are plucky shits who punch well above their weight.

Fulham don't have a derby, cos their fans are far too relaxed and focused on things outside of footie to get that wrapped about it all. Not as sad as the rest of us.

Errm Fulham have a Derby. They're just not thugs like their derby rivals.

Nah. They don't care. Not really a derby.

Hopefully it's not about Vilanova's health.

Sounds like Barca will be announcing Villanova is stepping down as manager, for health reasons I presume.

New manager for Barca apparently, guess it makes sense, Villanova's not had a lot of luck with his health and I can't imagine being a football manager is fun during all of that. Just a rumour atm, though most likely scenario.

    If so, Redknapp in surely?

Suckers - if they'd acted sooner they could have had Moyes

Yeah, seems his health is failing again and he's resigning. Awful.

Stoke to put on a free coach service from the Britannia to away stadiums for all away premier league games.

They staple you to the ball and then hoof you there.

Is that 3 relapses now for Villanova? Terrible stuff, can't even imagine what a horrible rollercoaster that must be, one minute you get the all clear and find yourself Barca manager. Then you relapse, get the all clear again and win the title. Then relapse again. Fuck me.

It would be more of a surprise if they put on coaches back to Stoke.

I've been to tons of away games but never on the club coach (mainly due to living so far away). I always thought they were full of the oldies.

Nice gesture and all that but maybe if they played nicer football then the fans would be willing to pay for travel.
