    Cya.
The Manager who called him the laziest player has ever had to deal with and whos treatment is part of the reason why Higuain wants to leave RM in the first place?

    Sure.

He didn't call him lazy though. What he actually said was:

“Higuaín is the least vain – if he could, he would come to work-out in pyjamas.”

Edit: you might be right about how he was treated in general though.

Moyes has confirmed the bid for fabregas and has stated that that's why Woodward (the new chief exec) returned from the tour. He's expecting more updates in the next couple of days. Interesting stuff.

Hmmm, they must have had some sort of positive indication or feedback from either barca or fab fit there to still be something in it.

When we'll just roll in with our first refusal option (for less than any accepted offer fro you guys is likely to be) ....it does of course assume he'd want to come back.

Wherein lies the problem, I just can't see him going back to arsenal if he does leave barca. I think there's a slim, miniscule chance we might sign him. I think arsenal have even less, the team has only gotten worse since he's left so unless he's more loyal than RVP (history would suggest he isn't) what reason would he have for choosing arsenal?

I can't really see him going back to Arsenal. Would be a bit if an admission of failure. A move to United is a least relatively sideways.

Still, should be a nice little windfall for Arsenal. More money for them not to spend :p

Can't believe Amazulu beat Man City as well.

Super Sport are the best club in SA atm. Amazulu, not so much.

It's a slim chance but it's not a completely unbelievable move especially in the wake of RVP.

Like Kal said it's at least a relatively sideways step - one with which he would be the first name on the team sheet everytime in his most favoured position and still be challenging for all the major trophies.

He does have a pretty unique relationship with Wenger (once said he only has 3 people to thank in his life....his mum, dad and Arsene Wenger). Plus, his GF and daughter live in London. I agree from a footballing perspective, but (I'm hoping) it's more complicated than that for him.

So does anyone give two shits that Man City signed Negredo and Jovetic? I feel that after losing Balotelli and Tevez those two don't really seem like progress. I do think though that Navas and Fernandinho will be good signings for them.

Oooooooh latest ITK is that the Suarez bids have been made up by his agent who touted him to us.

    Feeling a bit happier suddenly

Jovetic looks to be a great player. Inconsistent, but looks to have the lot. Not fussed about the others though.

I had a dream that Moyes called a press conference today to announce a new signing.

I was disappointed to wake up and find out the same old shit!

    MOYES OUT!

/Sarcasam just in case it wasn't clear.

Hypothetically speaking how would you feel if you sign Suarez and we sign Cesc?

We can't sign Cesc anyway, he's an integral part of our Anderson song.

We've had some brilliant ITKs this summer. Columbian radio. Golf journos. Now Dominic Cork (on Talksport). Says Cesc to Arsenal is done but can't be announced for some reason. Smells fishy to me, being TalkSport and all.

    It is all bollocks.

Journos throwing every piece of shit they can find (and make up) at the wall, hoping some will stick so they can claim to be the one that 'broke the story' for the next year.

    Wanks, the bunch of them.

    not a force for good

I'd be extremely pissed if Fabregas went to United.

All that talk of signing world class players and we can't even sign one when we have first refusal, he has a special link to Wenger and said his biggest regret was not winning trophies with Arsenal.

I'm starting to think having players you don't like in your team is the best way to go, that way at least it's funny when they go to United. Bring on Suarez.

Also RE Fabregas, you'd think that Wenger insisted on first refusal, presumably at the expense of a few more €€€, because he thought there was a good chance he'd want to come back.

I don't know, my money is still on a return to Arsenal next summer

Wouldn't be much of a windfall though would it? Isn't in the case that Arsenal will only get 50% of the profit Barca make on Fabregas, as opposed to the whole fee? If the fees being banded around for him are accurate then Arsenal will get very little at all.
