I still harbour dreams about spurs keeping thudd and loaning him back to us. If we had a player with a touch and the ability to hit feet with a ball, we could have a really decent season.

Isn't Michu about 6 or 7 years younger though? Plus I'm not sure Dempsey ever scored more than 20 in a season. Could be wrong about that though.

I think Thudd could be a really good player if he played every week and got himself into shape, I've always rated him. Unfortunately for you I think there are a fair few PL teams willing to take a punt on him!

I'm still clicking on news links with Moyes in the title, thinking I'm going to read about us; impressed that the media cares so much.

    FOOTBALL
Everton manager Roberto Martinez makes another signing from former club Wigan Athletic with the appointment of Dennis Lawrence as first-team development coach. The former Trinidad and Tobago international has been appointed to assist Under-21 manager Alan Stubbs.

We should just absorb the city.

Perhaps this is why Liverpool lost out/didn't follow through on Henrikh Mkhitaryan? Wishful thinking perhaps, but surely a consideration at least. (yes, no Champions League football blah blah) :D
Them being shit too probably didn't help.
    Heh.

You know what's funny? I've been wondering we're you've been for a while.
Turns out I've had you on ignore for months now.

Does this happen to anyone else too?

It's happened to me with random users. I blame smartphones, I'm sure I've tapped on ignore user without realising whilst scrolling through forum posts.

I'm really excited for Everton now (largely as I like them as they are the counter to liverpool. Also a big fan of Martinez).

I think he's gonna have you guys playing some sexy football, with Moses and Delfeuno to provide some exciting wing play.

Just need a decent striker to boot.

Yeah, I regularly use my tablet to post stuff here (you can tell I'm using a tablet when my spelling is consistently bad). Wouldn't be surprised if that's the fault.

Not bothered if our midfielders - if we keep them - push further up. They can score.

Why do people rate Martinez so
Much? He hasn't really achieved anything.

Achievement is relative. I wish people would understand that. Not winning the CL does not mean a lack of success. For most teams it's not even something to dream of, let alone consider.

But I'll wait till he's been given some time to get things together before passing judgement. Keep us up this year, fine. Mid table, happy. Around where we finished last season... bliss.

He won a trophy and European football for a start

The team he's just taken charge at haven't won either for a fair while.

    Nothing to do with Moyes.

Manchester United have some aversion to signing midfielders. Well, ones that would drastically improve our starting XI.

What a shit morning of news, this Rooney I jury business, Thiago looking set to join Bayern (god knows how he expects to get more minutes there) and the Chelsea game moved to a Monday night meaning I have to change flights for going to it setting me back 60. Welbeck as our only fit striker on tour is hilarious too.
