@welshben23 Did laugh at Jenkins moaning this morning about how much Ince is costing but then offers 6 million to Liverpool for bloody Shelvey.

Apparently we're back in for Remy.

We'll get in Bent (hopefully not as a starter) and that player who turned us down for QPR.

    This club, man.

@Syrette Who should you be bringing in then?

    @SuperCoolEskimo

A striker who isn't older and too similar to Cisse (as Bent is), and/or preferably a player who didn't mess the club around a few months back.

Not saying that I don't want Remy.

Aubameyang sounded perfect on every level, but unfortunately he's off to Dortmund.

Newcastle in my opinion really need a Craig Bellamy type striker (as Aubameyang - and Remy - are), someone with pace who can play out wide. Cisse has to be the focal point/central striker, and we're always best playing a 433 (with Ben Arfa on the right of Cisse).

So someone like Bony wouldn't be the answer to all my prayers either, although I wouldn't exactly say no.

    A cunt?
And Bony is awesome, I'd have him at arsenal. Better than Cisse.

Being decent in the Eredivisie doesn't count for that much tbh.

Another shocker. adidas have been pretty terrible as of late. Nike are by far the best atm.

Everton have strengthened their back room staff with Phil Neville joining United as first team coach.

'Real Madrid have decided to put the Gareth Bale signing on hold. After receiving yet another no from Tottenham Hotspur, Florentino Perez and his team have decided to call it a day and now see the signing of Bale this summer as impossible.
'Daniel Levy, the English clubs president, is not open to negotiation, and faced with such inflexibility, reaching any sort of agreement is not viable.'

    Happiness.

Not a huge fan of the sleeves, but otherwise that seems OK to me.

Suarez to Arsenal for 25 million lol. It seems some betting companies have suspended betting on this happening.

Ludicrous. Wenger has booted players out of the club for throwing a shirt to the ground after being subbed, he ain't going to sign someone found guilty of racist language and biting people.

On the other hand, how desperate is he to get a guaranteed 25 goals a season for a relatively reasonable price?

Good to see sturridge with his pulse on the side of his head. Saves you checking to see if hes dead in the latter half of the season.

That's the thing though - there's no way LFC would let Suarez go to another PL club for less than 35-40m, not a chance of us paying that. It's purely made up by bookies, suspending betting doesn't mean much. And it doesn't take a huge amount of cash to shorten the odds

It is a funny one. If they let him go for 25m, who would they replace him with? No top drawer forward is going to go to liverpool.

But they just took a 20m pounding on carroll, so they may be needing to balance the books.

Well Suarez was very well regarded when he came to Liverpool so top strikers can be tempted. Also I think rogers style can interest certain types of player.

But I also think it is far to early to start saying Suarez is a guaranteed 25 goals a season striker. He had a good year last year no doubt. The year before he was basically nowhere near, and all the media / critics were saying he isn't a "natural out and out goalscorer".

Personal I would sell the total cock for as much as I could get and let Sturridge have a season leading the line with someone playing off him.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise half of them are stupider than that

He was well regarded but so were liverpool when he joined. Plus he was never in that top tier of strikers he seems to be considered part of now.

And, yeah, I think its fairly safe to say that you are buying goals with suarez. The better the team he goes to, the more he will score.

I do agree with him being a cock, though.

Why on earth would you want to sign a player who could potentially be looking at a long jail term in the not too distant future?

Call me Rodger McPhilistine but I've never really heard much about Higuain until the collective jizzing of pants from Arsenal fans started. Is he... you know... any good?

If they get him, it would be a great signing. Really will lift their strike force considerably.

    He's a proper goal scorer.

20 goals in 32 International appearances too. Don't watch much Spanish football, but YouTube has convinced me he's the mutt's.

    Edit: Or Argentinian Internationals. :)
