Do you think White actually comes across as shouting in the studio or just a TV thing?

Must be the worst day at work beside him.

"FOOTBALL FOOTBALL FOOTBALL lives in it's own bubble we don't care about anything else."

    Footballers are retarded like SSN.

His face is a picture, looks so gormless. Great video.

I see Liverpool confirmed Kolo today. I still miss his jog on the spot and run to the corner before every game. :(

Perch having his medical with Wigan.

Quite gutted actually - since Pardew took over, he has been one of our most consistent players. He's also easily the most versatile player in our squad.

Unless he's going for silly money (6 million+) then i cant see the sense in getting rid of him.

Then again, if Joe Kinnear is as great as Joe Kinnear thinks he is, maybe theres some sort of masterplan going on.......

Yea, I know Perch bore the brunt of a number of jokes by Newcastle fans, his ironic nickname being one, but he struck me as a bit of a John O'Shea type character.

Funny to slag off and make fun at the expense of and all but actually quite important over the course of a season.

For the record; I love big John.

Hmmm, could be a shrewd enough acquisition.

Be interested to see how he gets on in a squad with a significantly higher number of talented footballers.

Seems like a pretty sensible signing for Liverpool, no? He's still got a couple of years left in his legs, he'll be a steadying older presence in the squad, I assume he'll be on fairly chunky wages but that's instead of a transfer fee rather than on top of one.

Good video, but nothing that a number of people weren't complaining about a decade ago anyway.

Roman hasn't contributed to the EPL's status. It's been up there cos of Utd. The money from TV was flowing in before the Russkie spunked his cash, which, I might add, only bought them a CL nine years after he took over.

Chelsea fans won't care. They are all plastic so they don't have the heart to care about using stolen money.

The trouble with Kolo is that he needs a steadying presence himself or he tends to go walkabout or make daft mistakes. When he had Campbell next to him, telling him where to go, he was great. Once Campbell was gone, he didn't really know what to do in some games. I still love him though, who wouldn't?

ESPN saying Thiago to United is 'nearly done'.

My penis will be a bloodied stub if this one goes through.

Yeah i stopped watching SSN a while ago now. Really has gone down the shitter. And i used to have it on literally all the time as background chat/noise.

The transfer deadline stuff really got to there heads, and now i think they see them selves as part of the whole football cog and a really important cog at that. They're not.

They're crossed the line from news to talk show/rumour mill back page bollocks.

i stil lhave it on now and again, but yeah its shit,

No guarantees about any player, but I seriously doubt it.

If he's so good then why don't Barca pay him properly?

Because he has two of the greatest midfielders ever to play the game currently in front of him.

Xavi's getting on a bit, you'd think he'd start to displace him next season.

I assume you mean Xavi and Iniesta.

Both are at the wrong ends of their career, especially Xavi. If this guy really is that amazing you'd think they'd be doing all they can to keep him considering his age.

They are doing everything they can, but they messed up a clause in his contract which allows him to leave for 17 million. Goes back up to 90 million in August. In fact, it's the fifth highest release clause in the world - that's how highly they rate him. There has been a massive to-do in the Spanish press about him leaving and how Barca have potentially fucked up.

He's a massive talent, anyone that has seen him play for Barca would tell you this.

You'd argue with a brick wall if you could.
  • Deleted user 2 July 2013 19:13:57
It's not about his release clause though ultimately. It's about you paying him more in wages.

He doesn't have to leave Barca even if you meet the release clause.

And it's a discussion. If you don't like it I suggest avoiding discussion forums.
