Didn't Moyes moan about City's constant hounding of that massive forehead defender whose name escapes me at present? It will be interesting to see how many time he goes in for Baines now he's got the muscle.

That was because Hughes couldn't stop talking to the press about how much he was looking forward to buying Lescott, even though we'd rejected multiple bids.

Have you noticed Moyes hasn't said a word in public since the end of the season? United are of course officially without a manager until 1st July.

We don't *need* a player like Belhanda.

Speculation over Aubameyang is hotting up again, Sky Sports quoting him saying positive things about Newcastle. Like he has for most of the clubs he's been linked to, to be fair (Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, PSG, Monaco, Leverkusen but not Anzhi that I know of).

I think you've actually been linked with Patrick Agyemang.

He's been on holiday for a month anyway. We bid for Baines last summer so I doubt Moyes is driving this. I don't expect us to push for this transfer.

Yeah, because Man Utd don't teach and nurture.

Spurs supposedly trying to hijack Mkhitaryan. Quelle surprise.

17m was the accepted offer before he scored that goal.

Hah, yeah, the guy was a big secret Liverpool uncovered like Sigs and Dempsey. Nobody had even heard of these guys before Liverpool found them.

Lets not forget that they hijacked our deal for Carroll (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA).

We were going to try and gazump Liverpool for Stewart Downing but Levy couldn't reach the fax machine due to the fact he was rolling around on the floor laughing along with every other Premier League chairman.

Right so we cant get Williams because he's too expensive. Lets move on to the next target now, i don't want to hear any more about how we are trying to get Williams for the rest of the summer.

So I have to figure out how to pronounce his name now?

Anyway I don't get this thing with Liverpool fans and their insistence Spurs hijack their targets. Could it possibly be that they are both similar size clubs (ambition wise) so are likely to be going for similar targets?

Just cos you want him doesn't mean everyone else has to back off and let you have him!

Newcastle used to have the same complaint, although to be fair we did almost literally hijack Modric.

Generally though its just childish. There's no secrets, and if you really want to point a finger point it at the agents.

Surely agents pimp their clients out to every single club anyway. They just need to click on the button and choose "offer to clubs"

Cant stand the bloke tbh. Can be a good player on his day but don't really see what he will add over what we have, unless lennon is on his way. And I'm not really sure thats an upgrade tbh.

It's a striker thats needed now.

Spurs apparently lying to targets to get them to sign. :)

Nani is definitely better for a 4-3-3 than Lennon. Plus we've always needed Wong cover.

Just a rumour anyway, but definite yes for me.

Wenger has no idea on the market value of players. He should give the names of targets to someone else, and let them do the business side of things.

oh wait, the someone else is Gazidis...
