Now for Suarez to piss off and the league will be slightly less scummy.

As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be a ninja.

Still got to cleanse Stamford Bridge... and I don't just mean the players.

So, what wonder striker are they replacing him with?
Early rumours are they may attempt to steal a march on Arsenal by replacing him with another Argentinian...
No one saw that coming at all, oh no! Fingers crossed we've done enough already.

    Chelseas new signing Schurrle

Looks like a talented player and he is only 22. Will be interested to see how these players all fit in with De Bruyne supposedly coming back as well.

I think us getting Villa is slightly dependent on Arsenal getting Higuain, so weirdly I find myself hoping that one doesn't collapse.

Can I personally escort Tevez into the plane? Won't be sorry to see him out of the league.

Cavani reportedly asking for 300k a week? Like that will happen.

Only yesterday Cavani was saying that he doesn't think hes worth 60million, probably not the best thing to say when you are trying to get a 300k a week contract

Well I have just read that he has failed to turn up to pre-season over frustration that it hasn't been resolved, one that seems to rumble on.

Never really understood the Tevez hate. He's obviously a bit childish, but has always struck me as a 'needs to be loved' type player, as opposed to a true bad egg. I think he's quality, and given regular football and a bit of nurture, will play his heart out for you.

I'd still have him at Spurs in a heartbeat.

It's fairly reasonable to dislike anyone that takes his ball and fucks off home for 6 months while under contract. Obviously he's talented and he certainly isn't malicious in the same way someone like Suarez is, but I can see why the way he has carried himself at City has turned a lot of people off him.

Sounds like Paul Clement will be assistant manager at Real Madrid, good to see an English coach getting this kind of job

@kalel For 10M he's a steal, and I agree, I'd have him at ours for a couple of seasons.

I don't think I want a player who needs to be loved when on over 700K a month anywhere near my team.

I think the problem with tevez is that he is genuinely as thick as pigshit, proper 'dumbest of the dumb', so a lot of the stuff he does isnt motivated by maliciousness, rather utter stupidity.

Still, I suppose the flight from Italy half an hour shorter back to argentina, so that should sort his home sickness out.

I liked it when Robbie Savage moved to Blackburn "for family reasons" and then MoTD2 showed that he was now geographically further away from his family.

Well...... you dont know specifically what 'family reasons' are, I suppose.

I remember when Dean Leacock moved from West Ham to Derby for Family Reasons which, it turned out, were that his mates in london were a load of thugs and wannabe gangsters, so moving out to the sticks was better for family than keeping them surrounded by cunts.

He was a dick, but Mancini was also a huge factor in the whole thing. As I say, Tevez is very childish and needs managing, and Mancini categorically failed to do that. Worth also remembering that when Mancini did swallow his pride a bit, Tevez came back and helped them win the league.

Seems to be most Tevez haters tend to be United fans anyway, not City ones

There's a photo going round today of him apparently in a London hotel. Also Ian Ayre was conspicuously absent fron the Mignolet photos. He's normally front and centre.

It's all hearsay though at this stage.

And Mancini has been shown to be a pretty shit man manager a number of times.

Then you're never likely to have any of the real greats play for your team, as they are mostly childish egomaniacs. It somehow goes with the territory.

Le Tiss was definitely a "need to be loved" type player, which is a large part of why he never left you.
